I want my character back. [Archive] - Wizards Community

12-06-03, 06:54 PM A while ago the party my friends and I had dissolved because they didn't like their characters. All except for me. He was the best character I had never played and I really got into him. but majority rules and the characters got canned. But I want him back. If there was fair and reasonable to get him back should my DM give him back?

12-06-03, 08:21 PM Find someone else who is willing to DM for you. You may have to alter some of the things about the character depending on houserules and such, but it shouldn't be too messy.

If there is nobody willing to DM in your area try online gaming sites. Message board style has worked best for me, though instant message based D&D does have it's advantages.

12-08-03, 09:58 PM This one time I had an elven druid, and he was the coolest guy I ever played. The biggest thing I remember about him was that he had a rod of wonder, and never failed to use it when he was stuck. It consistently did nothing productive, but the way he got out of those messes is what really made him come alive.

12-09-03, 10:35 AM I prefer stealthy sneaky covert mission to asking anyday. You could... heres what you do... first, get a character sheet, and a pen/pencil of the same type used on the the character sheet your character is on. Now, go over to his house, but beforehand, pay some girl with a sexy voice $5 to call him up while you are there and keep him busy on the phone for a few minutes. Now, rumage through his stuff, and find your character sheet. Then, copy the info to the "fake" sheet, and replace yours with the fake one, keeping yours. Now you can have the girl reject him, and when he stomps over to tear up a character sheet for vengence, you will have yours, and he will tear up the copy! BWHAHAHA!

Or you could just ask for it back, but I believe my method is vastly superior. ;)
