If there's one pantheon, will Mystra be replaced by Wee Jas? [Archive] - Wizards Community

11-04-07, 07:52 AM I don't think there is going to be one pantheon for all settings. There's a new core pantheon, but I am fairly sure that the Realms will continue to have a distinct one of their own (albeit slightly trimmed).

11-04-07, 03:32 PM I have no reason other than gut feeling, but it tells me WotC might leave the Goddess of Magic role vacant (or fundamentally changed; no goddess of magic or many deities of magic) for a bit to emphasize the point of Mystras death. At least that is what I think they will do if they wanted Mystra to stay dead and show people (the customers) that she really is dead for good, which the designers have hinted was a significant component of their new Realms.
