She will probably not answer prayers if you are of a good alignment, and if she does, she will throw in some loop-hole or make you do something evil for her in return. Also, you'd probably offend your god by doing so. Light a fire, thaw him out, and get him to a Good-Aligned temple for some much needed healing!

Even Good people pray to evil gods. It gives the example of sailors and Umberlee for example. To get your friend unfrozen I am thinking This. Cast detect magic. If he glows use dispel MAgic. If he doesn't then you in trouble. You need the magic antidote. Like STone to flesh/Flesh to stone. YOur best bet is a wizard or cleric with a lot of spellcraft and Knowledge Arcana skill to look him over and fiqure out which spell to use, or even research a new one. All else fails, smash and bring back from the dead.

avian tiefling 09-28-03, 03:34 PM	just how did this character become frozen? if it was by non-magical means, or the breath of a dragon such as Icingdeath, you should be able to just take a pick or hammer and WHACK! carve your way to him.

Oh, and RobTsu, sailors who pray to Umberlee instead of Valkur are little dicklings who deserve to die at sea. In as terrible a way as possible. Preferably involving sex-starved sharks. Male sex-starved sharks.
