09-16-03, 07:06 AM What exactly was Imaskar the one who created and ruled the Imaskari Empire? A Net site I found said that he was a dragon demon with psionic powers that was from either another prime or another plane. Is this canon? Is this true? Is Imaskar considered dead or banished? Was he a deity?
Lots of questions, thanks for any answers or thoughts.:confused:

I all ways thought their might be a connection between Imaskar and the Terraseer. Both of them seem to have been architects of a magical kingdoms but with a diffrent vision on what role magic should take in those empires.

So my guess would their extra-dimensional beings or relics of creater races.

09-16-03, 09:40 AM The Imaskar Empire was ruled by the Imaskari Artificires.

Other than that, all I know of them is that they were stricken by a plague, stole people from Earth (Mulhorandi and Untheric), made a barrier that didn't allow these people's deities to come through, and fought another empire of magic (the Raurin?), and was ruined in that battle, or when the deities came with Spelljamming.

I know it is not canon, but I have seen it on other sites. It seems to be accurate as far as I can crossreference with canon material. It lists that in -17,000 DR that Imaskar appeared and was a "draconian creature from beyond the stars, who possessed great arcane and psionic powers." To me this reminded me of one of the dragons from Darksun. Were they not refered to as gods on that world? I am not familiar with the setting, but I seem to remember that the dragons removed all reference to deities and created a no cleric world.:b:

The timeline may not be canon but its a facinating read nontheless. The author did a nice job considering the lack of "official" information out there.

They came from "Another Place" (TM) and founded an empire. Then they 'gated' in on another prime/world and stole slaves...:D
