Info on Gates of the Moon [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-18-04, 05:37 PM I've tried to find more information on the Gates of the Moon and so far all I know is that it is in Ysgard (unless that source was wrong)....basically I would like more information regarding the home plane of Selune...or at least directed to it.

It's not part of Ysgard in the 3e FR cosmology. It's a seperate plane by itself now. You can use the old Planescape material about it until March, which is when the new Player's Guide is supposed to be out and it will have further details about FR's new planes....

01-20-04, 12:10 PM so is there currently no information on the Gates of the Moon? I realize that the Player's Guide will update that info but that can be easily fixed...and I'd prefer not to wait until Marchish to continue my campaign, so any info would be better than none

There's the old Planescape material as I said. The Planes of Chaos box set. Also the realms module Duty and Deity or the Planescale module Tales of the Infinite Staircase.

The Staircase begins in the Gates of the Moon (not sure how this effects the new planes though) and the staircase pretty much has a connection to every where in the Multiverse. Be it places on the prime, places on the Outlands, places on the Outer planes or places on the Inner planes.

How this is effected in 3e FR planes and if the staircase even exists in the 3e FR planes I'm not sure.
