| bigbluepaw11-08-05, 10:43 AM | Hello all. Hope all is well. I am in the middle of planning a campaign in the city of Oeble as described in the Rogues Series novel, the Black Bouquet. The city is not described in the FR Campaign Setting or any of the supplements that I have seen. I'm looking for more details on the city while re-reading through the book. * Where is the Paeradyn? It is not shown in the map in the novel. * Is there any mapping of the Underways at all? If anyone can help, I'd greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance. BBP |
| Old Sage11-08-05, 11:26 AM | Tom Costa wrote a FR novel article for Oeble (located here:- http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=books/fr/oeble). In addition, Oeble was also detailed by Ed in his "Border Kingdoms" articles for POLYHEDRON -- it's in #138. |
| bigbluepaw11-08-05, 12:02 PM | Thanks for the direction there. A few questions though. I was looking for online access of the Polyhedron Magazine and found this reference in the WOTC site - http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=rpga/membership/polyhedron That leads to Dragon Magazine? (http://paizo.com/dungeon). Has Polyhedron Magazine switched over to Dragon Magazine? Also, does anyone know if they have these back issues? Again, thanks for any help. |
| Old Sage11-08-05, 12:13 PM | POLYHEDRON Magazine is discontinued. I think paizo.com still stock back issues for POLYHEDRON, but they usually sell fast... especially those with FR content by Ed Greenwood. I suggest you email their customer service and ask them if they have this particular issue available or, alternatively, look through the catalogues there yourself. |
| Alac Luin11-10-05, 11:30 AM | Here is the link you want http://paizo.com/store/magazines/polyhedron/1999/v5748btpy7n82 This will take you to Poly issue 138, the one containing Ed Greenwood's article on the Border Kingdoms that was suggested earlier. For over one year, Polyhedron was bundled with Dungeon, before Poly was discontinued. This issue was from before the time the two magazines were combined. |

| ericlboyd11-10-05, 12:51 PM | Oeble is a city in the Realms ... Elminster's Everwinking Eye columns in Polyhedron are filled with obscure Realmslore. One more reference to Oeble: See Serpent Kingdoms: the Adderposts adventure. --Eric |
