| Priest_of_Shaundakul04-18-06, 10:52 AM | This is probably really old, but I was getting information on Mielikki for my campaign, and noticed the name "Ehlonna" in there... :D |
| GothicDan04-18-06, 12:13 PM | It probably wasn't a joke. It was probably a misprint. |
| JaiaDrottsingr04-18-06, 07:28 PM | Dan, the FR deity name closest to Ehlonna is Elistraee, this would have been one of the largest misprints ever. |
| Subur_Ba_Knight04-18-06, 09:15 PM | Ummm..... Page 42 of faiths and Pantheons is dedicated to Loth?!? I believe the reference to Ehlonna is on page 49. Under the "Other Divine Powers" heading. That has got to be a cut and past misprint. Those gods are too similar for it to be a coincedence. Someone didn't want to make the deity from the ground up and so they just copied her from another book, and tweeked a few things. Looks like they missed something. |
| Priest_of_Shaundakul04-18-06, 09:32 PM | *shakes head* Yeah, I meant 49 That was what I thought too. I wonder if any of these exist in other books as well, errors of this size :D |
| Another Gnome04-19-06, 02:03 AM | Magic of Faerūn p. 66 also mistakenly refers to Ehlonna when talking about Mielikki, though that was corrected in a recent errata. Ironically, the errata itself refers to wrong page numbers... |
| Lord Karsus04-20-06, 01:05 AM | Dan, the FR deity name closest to Ehlonna is Elistraee, this would have been one of the largest misprints ever. -Ehlonna is the Grayhawk equivalent of Mielikki. Someone probably wasn't paying attention, and accidentally put in Ehlonna in place of Mielikki is what I think Dan is the point Dan is trying to get across. |
| Another Gnome04-20-06, 01:18 AM | Besides, Eldath would be a closer approximate both in name and character than Eilistraee. ;) |
