Killing a Lich [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-05-03, 10:33 PM i just used this method to kill a lich.
it may only work in AD&D, and requires a 18th or19th level sorcerer, and probably wont work on dracoliches, demiliches, or alhoons, but, anyway....

use a fighter and anyone else you've got armed with a ranged weapon to disrupt it's spells.

then, heve your quest level sorcerer call comets out of the sky on its head!!
SQUISH!
Death!

as long as you know where the lich in question is, invisibility won't help it (its area effect anyway) and spell turning dweomers have no effect on it!

10-06-03, 12:07 PM Well, technically, that won't 'kill' a lich - it'll destroy his current body. Unless he happens to have his phylactery on his person.
