Learning to play [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-12-05, 07:23 PM I was wondering if anyone could suggest a way I could learn to play, other than in person since I don't know anyone who plays. If you have suggestions, specific places online would be nice. Thanks for the help, too.

10-13-05, 09:49 PM WOTC has a board where DMs, and players, post looking for ads..... You could try to find an online game and ask the DM to help you out and let them know your new..... You could also look through that board for any players and DM's in your area.

Or look around where you live for any hobby shops and see if they have DM's that are willing to teach new players. You could also post a flyer at those shops looking for a gaming group.
