| sillaric_culdanin08-18-07, 11:04 AM | there have been some rumors that when living greyhawk wraps up next year, there will be a living forgotten realms can anyone confirm this rumor or heard anything about it? Didn't 2E have a Living City or somesuch set in Raven's Bluff? |
| Voric08-18-07, 11:05 AM | There is already a "Living" campaign for the Realms, or rather there was. It has been years since I bothered to see if it was still alive. Was it replaced by "Living Greyhawk" or something? The "Living City" campaign was an ongoing RPGA series set in city of Raven's Bluff. |
| carnasus08-18-07, 11:31 AM | Living Forgotten Realms was indeed set in Ravens Bluff. It was abandoned several years ago by WoTC and a group in the UK kept it going, they however were asked to stop producing any material for it, which does make you think that a Living Forgotten realms will start up. I for one am looking forward to it if it does go ahead. |
| MarkusTay6308-18-07, 12:54 PM | And then there there was the Living Jungle Campaign, set in Malatra (lower K-T). I think that fell apart within months, though. I believe Carnasus is right, because when the UK group (Sarbreenar) was asked to 'cease and desist', it was hinted at the WotC had plans in regards to it's (the Living Campain) use. |
| Lord_Storm08-19-07, 03:45 PM | Living FR is now a reality it will debut at Gencon 2008. Yes there was a Living City campaign set in the Ravens Bluff and the area surrounding it. |
| Emirikol08-19-07, 03:49 PM | FYI: There is a HUGE discussion group already going for Living Forgotten Realms: http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/LivingFR/ http://games.groups.yahoo.com/group/LFR-CO/ (Colorado) jh |

| charris25608-20-07, 01:58 PM | Also a group on the google boards as well. http://groups.google.com/group/living-forgotten-realms |
| Emirikol08-20-07, 02:21 PM | Wow, this stuff is really taking off. The Yahoogroup already has 200 members and over 100 posts...in less than 24 hours! By Myrkul, if it's going to grow this way, we've got some excitement on our hands!!! Jh |
| Norg08-20-07, 04:29 PM | There was Living City, Return to Ravens Bluff, Living Procampur, Sarbreener, and Living Jungle. They were all set in the Forgotten Realms. LC was sold to Organized Play and Return was a new attempt at a Living Campaign. They were both licenced from Wizards. Living Jungle was a RPGA sponsered campaing that ran for a few years after LG started but was soon stoped. Living Procampur was a spin off of LC by a group of people and ran for awhile with LC. After LC died and LG became the only campaign, LP was ordered to stop by Wizards so it became Shining Jewel and is still running though very minor. Sarbreener was a European version of LP set in the city of Sarbreener was ordered to cease at the same time as LP. Hope this covers all the stuff you were asking about. :) ---> Larry <--- |

I liked it.Thank You, I stand corrected. You wouldn't happen to have any of the PDF's from that setting would you? I've been hunting for them for some time for use in the Kara-Tur Revisted thread, but all I could come up with is a dead website and the player's guide. The DMG would be most helpful, as would any adventures set therein - let me know if you have them and I'll update the material. :D I've never played in any of the 'living' campaigns, because I though you had to go to the conventions to do so. With the new DI, maybe the living Campaigns will take place online, and then I would be able to participate. I'd like to see something set in the Utter East, or the Hordelands, because the centralized location would allow travel to exotic locales, and those regions are under-developed enough to leave quite a bit open to new material. |
