Look for "Legacy of the Green Regent". You can find a link to it if you click on the RPGA on the left side of the forum screens. Living City is dead. Legacy of the Green Regent is the new one and based out of Loudwater. I've also heard that they might bundle all of the older adventures and sell them as a product. I sure would like it.

He might mean Living City. But that's gone.

thanks i got the info...but i have to say its rather retarded compared to Living greyhawk..

i hate the level boost things. and the timeline of things. im now a RPGA GM, and i LOVE FR, but living FR seems ignorant compared to greyhawk, etc.

I agree that there are a lot cooler things in LG then LotGR. Part of the thing comes from LotGR is a timed event. In other words, in a few years, it will be over. There is a fixed storyline and the plot needs to continue. If you played a lot in the first year, you might have missed out a lot of year 2 due to a marriage. When the divorce comes through in year 3, you get to play a lot again, but are way behind. The modules are as accomadating as some of the LG modules (lvls 1-12), so you really need to have the level bumps or you just can't play that character.

They also got rid of metaorgs as I think it was too much of a hassle to update them every time a new product came out. I still like them, but they were not added in. Instead, you get to use the new reward cards they are pushing for bennies.

Charged items, like wands, are done differently too. I think they figured it was a better system for your money to buy a wand of magic missle, but only give it so many charges per adventure. Perhaps it was a bit abused in LG and prior for characters with lots of cash?

I admit that I like the regionalism that comes with LG. I'm playing in the Gran March and really enjoy the storyline here. I don't get to the Cons much, though.

I understand the time line, but why dont they make it so you can start at level 1, whenever, but you must complete each adventure to play the next one.

Or in the same situation, have level boosting optional. I just hate that idea. Getting a PC to 7th level (which is where they are at now) is impressive and takes time. The character developes a personality.

But the whole compaign is a timed event. When the plot arc is done, then the whole campaign will end. It will not be continued. They don't want to keep running the old adventures or else the plot line will never end. If they are constantly introducing new players to the lvl 1 stuff, then the campaign will just never end.

Think of it as a tv show. You are watching Season 3 of the show. If you want to go back and find the old shows on dvd or tape, you can do that. They have all the year 1 modules bundled for free download. You can download them and either read through them or have a friend DM them and some friends for you. It wouldn't be "official", but you could go through the adventures on your own.
