[Looking for] Neiron [Archive] - Wizards Community

Remember the old 2E Realms boxed set(s)? Well they had that cool little "Running the realms" softback in it. Inside the softback they listed a collection of famous and infamous NPCs of the realms, and included a little blurb on each.

Well I happened to really like Neiron! Neiron the Schemer, 12th level human ranger, the most powerful non-harper ranger of the dragon coast, vast, and western heartland regions, slew Gothag and his 42 hobgoblin bodyguard, the two named frost giants Gurrl and Kutharr in the Stonelands, is rumored to have much magic including a necklace of missiles, a ring that unleashes spells, and a magical blade, etc etc. Yes, THAT Neiron.

Does anyone know if he made an appearance in any 3E FR material, OR do you have a current or past write up on him?

I'm really looking for Neiron, any material that mentions him.

01-05-04, 05:14 PM I remember who you are talking about, but I don't think that he has made an entry since then. I have not heard of him. Perhaps he has and I do not know, though.

01-08-04, 04:06 AM Back in April 2000, Ed had this to say about the mysterious Neiron on the Realms-L:

Neiroon 'the Schemer' was a hermit (retired adventurer) who was a tutor of
one of the Knights of Myth Drannor. He was a character with several classes,
including druid and illusionist, and he deliberately remains a mystery. (In
other words, because of the 'home' Realms campaign, more won't be revealed at
this time; sorry.)
