| BadCatMan07-03-07, 11:18 PM | No maps are supposed to be made of the city by Lord Nasher's orders, so I don't think there will be any canon maps. Most walkthroughs of the game will give maps though: NWN1: http://www.gamebanshee.com/neverwinternights/nwnwalkthrough/citycore.php NWN2: http://www.gamebanshee.com/neverwinternights2/walkthrough/neverwinterdocksdistrict.php NWN2 has the better looking maps. |
| Old Sage07-03-07, 11:22 PM | Any fan-based maps are likely to be based on the few tidbits drawn from descriptions of the city itself in the Realmslore. This is mostly due to the fact that no official map for Neverwinter has never been printed in any FR source. The "Neverwinter" entry in VGttN tells us why this is the case:- Volo's Guide to the North [pg. 131] - "Nasher doesn't allow maps of the city to be made (hence the lack of one in these pages). This is to keep the spies of Luskan busy and add a minor measure of difficulty to any Luskanite invasion plans." |

You can download the campaign booklet with the cool Neverwinter map in it at this link here: http://www.candlekeep.com/downloads/nj/njwest.zip Be warned it is a big file, I think around a 10 MB pdf. And the Neverwinter Map is on p.22 of the campaign book, with a map key on p.23. |

If a future Wizards author decides to use them, yes.They're as canon as you want 'em to be.The only point of having a concept of 'canon' is to distinguish what the official continuity is from individual campaigns. We all know perfectly well that they don't need to be match. |
