Mephistopheles in NWN [Archive] - Wizards Community

05-31-04, 08:27 PM I was wondering.... does anyone know if the plot of neverwinter nights : hordes of the underdark is going to hold true in faerunian history? i mean, there's no mention of a Valsheress in recent novels, but do you think it will hold true that mephistopheles is now free from the ice of cania and has his sights on faerun? can we expect to see more archdevils taking an interest in toril?

anyone heard from the authors on this one?

06-01-04, 12:47 AM And one that doesn't tie into recent events very well. Can you really imagine even the Epic Level Valsharess taking over the ENTIRE underdark, as she was supposed to? Nope, it was a pretty bad story. BG series was far superior for fitting in and not throwing everything to hell.

Anywhosit, I don't think the devs give a wit when it comes to NWN and continuity. The factory modules I beleive are there just to show off the capabilities of the game and what somebody could do with the toolset.
