| Twigs12-03-03, 05:55 AM | I am trying to find modules/adventures that you can buy or download for Forgotton Realms and not D&D or Kalamar. There seems to be very few out there and the ones there are available that I have found are all high level!! I have Pool of Radience and Spider Queen. But there must be more!!!! Any help will be great!! Jay |

There also tend to be a few short adventures in each of the regional sourcebooks (Silver Marches, Unapproachable East, Underdark). Dungeon magazine is another good place to look, though they only have an adventure set specifically in the Realms about every other issue. You can probably find an index somewhere that should list them if you dig around online. |

| Faraer12-03-03, 10:45 AM | If you ignore non-3E adventures, you're letting the rules get in the way of your game. None of the published 3E modules represent the Realms as faithfully as classics like FRQ1 Haunted Halls of Eveningstar, FA1 Halls of the High King, and Ruins of Undermountain do. 3E Dungeon adventures are "The Raiders of Galath’s Roost" (Skip Williams, #87, 4 PCs of level 1), "The Door from Everywhere" (Roger E. Moore, #88, 6), "Thirds of Purloined Vellum" (Graham Robert Scott, #88, 1), "Tears for Twilight Hollow" (Angel Leigh McCoy & Christopher Perkins, #90, 7), "Spiral of Manzessine" (David Noonan, 94, 11), "Woe to Mistledale" (Skip Williams, #100, 7), "Prison of the Firebringer" (Richard Baker, #101, 13), "Forest of Blood" (Wil Upchurch, #103, 5). |

The Stink in Dungeon 105 could be fit in any crazy city (though I prefer Ravens Bluff). Racing the Snake in the same issue could work well in the Western Heartlands somewhere. There are many more adventures and these are just some of the latest gems. I think Dungeon has had some really good ones lately. |

This does not cover the FEW adventures in Dungon Mag or the adventures from the reginal sorce books. This was due in part to the percived commertial failure ot the "spider queen" mega adventure. Not taking into account that about half the realms players have had it with Drow, and would never buy it. (personally, I'm not one of these people but looking around on this bords, it will be evedent there is some truth to this statment) The short seperate modues are a questionable risk commertally, some series sell, others dont. Not everyone would pay the 7-10 dollers for one modual ending up paying 60-70 dollers for a compleate campain when a campain adventure can be sold for 40 dollers. All in all, it was valid markrting reasons that there are so few adventured for the realms now, however unpopuler that may be for the FR players and DMs. |
