Monster of Faerūn 3.5 [Archive] - Wizards Community

01-07-04, 01:37 AM While it is certainly no mind-boggling task to change the content of Monster of Faerūn to be truly 3.5-ready and compatible (and not all of it needs to change), I'm asking - nay, begging - for a reproduction of Monsters of Faerūn.

What would this entail? Well, in addition to the book containing 3.5-updated information, it'd be nice to see it in hardcover, like all the D&D books are now and will always be from this point forward.

But, ideally, such a reproduction would/should/could include monsters from all previously published Forgotten Realms supplements (for 3rd edition, just to be clear), similarly updated. So, Kir-Lanan, Beholdkin Death Tyrants, creatures from Races of Faerūn, and other books - all presented in one, easy to use, easy to reference book.

Please?

I certainly wouldn't mind shelling out $30 for a comprehensive, updated book of Faerun's currently detailed monsters and other creatures.

Anyone have any thoughts?

PS: The only other thing I'd like to see is updated NPC stat blocks from the FRCS, Silver Marches, Lords of Darkness and... I guess that's it. Maybe as a web enhancement? Just their stat blocks.

01-07-04, 07:19 AM They where originally planing on converting some FR monsters in the Players guide to Faerun, but the chapter was cut. Rich ha hinted that the chapter may appear in a web enhancement for PGTF

Most really don't need conversion except those with SP like abilities and DR I would think. If they're going to release it in WE format why not just do it now? Or as a preview promo for the Players Guide?

An expanded, hardbound compendium, 3.5 compliant Monsters of Faerun, using a more realistic CR, EL factors.
