Moondark mountain [Archive] - Wizards Community

Aside from location, you could place a site-based adventure involving a Dragon and its allies depending on how powerful your PCs are.

A Red Wizard builds a tower and begins demanding taxes from nearby villages, using his ettin allies to enforce this.

Assassins use the mountains to hide their secret base.

Moondark mountain is located deep in the spine of the world, and is an old elven stronghold, now abandoned. There are no villages of anything but orcs for miles and miles. It's exactly its isolation that makes it a difficult location to deal with.

As I said, suggestions are more than welcome.
