Sovereign King 09-11-05, 05:36 AM	Hello I'm running a campaign in the moonshae isles called the Nocturnal Court for some friends of mine and I'd like to get some input. The whole story revovles around the awakening of the dark fey High Laird Sithany and his Nocturnal Court. Sithany was once one of the goddesses children until his associations with the first human settlers of the moonshaes caused him to become unbalanced and corrupt. Laird Sithany attempted to enthrall both the Ffolk and the elves of Synnoria. The elves sensed the fallen childs deep spiritual corruption and rejected his offer but the weaked will men of the Ffolk were quickly seduced. A pact was struck between the Nocturnal court and the Ffolk. They would worship and obey the Nocturnal court and in return they would be allowed to spread across the isles. War consumed the moonshaes isles as the the nocturnal court and it's mortal thralls turned against the elves of synnoria. This unbalance however did not go unnoticed and the goddess reached out to those men and women who still had the wisdom to see that the Ffolk were being lead into slavery and that the Nocturnal Courts promises were hollow. Together this small order of druids broke the dark enchantments that clouded the minds of their fellow Ffolk and in an epic battle banished the Nocturnal court forcing it into hibernation. It is now the year of raging dragons and the existance of the Nocturnal court has become nothing more then a barely remembered myth. This however is all about to change several of the Nocturnal court have awakened and Lord Sithany now begins to stir soon he will fully awaken and thoughts of revenge against his enemies and the enforcement of the ancient pact will be foremost on his mind. I've studied the moonshaes and the sword coast and have already decided that the nocturnal court will have struct bargains with other villianous nations and groups to ensure the moonshaes cannot call for help. I've already decided that Luskan and the arcane host, the kraken society, the Nethlander Isles, the cult of the black blood, the Sahaguin,the Firbolgs, Ruathym and her colonies are all in league with the Nocturnal court. All having been promised something in exchange for their assistance in attacking the ffolk directly or indirectly. Now all I need is to adapt the material from the moonshae sourcebooks to 3ed and I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on either the stats or game mechanics of the following list. Moonwells the children of the goddess High Queen Alicia Kendrick High King Keane Deirdre Kendrick Bloodriders Robyn Kendrick Tristan Kendrick Please feel free to post any additional information I may have over looked.
Kuje31 09-11-05, 11:45 AM	Well Deirdre is considered dead but the Villian's Lorebook says she could be brought back. :) The new Waterdeep novel also shows us that Alicia has a nephew so she has to have other family. I'm waiting for Ed to answer my request about this. :)
