Here's some of the stuff I've ordered, recently. Sadly, I haven't gotten most of it, yet. Soon, though. Yes, very soon!

The Annotated Elminster (Got it yesterday, along with Races and Classes, and plan to start on it later today. I already got the three novels it's reprinting, but I figured the commentary by Ed Greenwood might be interesting)
The Lone Drow
The Two Swords
Promise of the Witch-King
Homeland: The Legend of Drizzt, Book I TPB (Ah shore luv me muh comics! All dem purty pikchurrs...)
Exile: The Legend of Drizzt, Book II TPB
Sojourn: The Legend of Drizzt, Book III TPB
Forgotten Realms: The Legacy
Worlds of Dungeons & Dragons (With Raistlin and... yep, Drizzt)

I've never been much of a Drizzt fan, so I hope I don't overload on Drizzt, here. I'll let you folks know if I come out of this with a strong urge to play a twin scimitar wielding Drow Ranger or not. :P

Good to know! :)

Wow, that list is "Drizztastic"!

I wanted to complete my collection of Drizzt novels (Although I'm still short The Orc King). Still haven't gotten around to reading them, though (What can I say? I got a huge backlog of books I've been meaning to read. I've also got A Song of Ice and Fire, Chronicles of the Lensmen, and three or four Narnia novels, in addition). And sadly, the only Forgotten Realms comics Devil's Due has put out so far has Drizzt. Hopefully they'll expand into other Realms characters, soon.

I've been saying that for months (years even, I forget how long). I don't think we will ever see it. :: sigh ::

Let Jim Lowder know what else you'd like to see in comic form in this thread (http://forum.candlekeep.com/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=8855&whichpage=5).

Damn shame. I'd love to read comic adaptations of other Realms stories, with other characters. The Realms isn't JUST Drizzt, after all. :D

"Elminster at the Magefair" is very high on my list

Hah, sweet! I was actually going to say something similar in my previous post. I've been rereading the anthologies, and I thought it'd be a good idea to adapt stories from them, including Elminster at the Magefair. Thanks for the link. I'll stop by there, later, to offer up some suggestions.

-Forget just retellings of other stories. I'd love to see a Forgotten Realms original comic series, with that quality artwork.

Assuming quality artwork and writing? Yeah, that'd be a dream come true. I'd love to get original stories in a Forgotten Realms comic, preferably with new characters. Although I think in this case, it'd be better to release several mini-series', rather then just one series. Introduce new characters in each one, and then throw them against the wall and see which one of them sticks. Then they can progress from there, either producing more mini-series' for the more successful characters, or giving them a continuing series. IMO, the Forgotten Realms should be like the DCU. It's not A series, but rather, a world in which several series' should be set. That would be fantastic (Depending on the execution, of course).

The Early Adventures of The Dead Three!

Watch as the tyrant, assassin and necromancer get into all sorts of wacky adventures in their quest for godhood.

Myrkul: Bhaal! Get your lazy butt off the couch and kill that goblin outside who is ******* on our door! Bane *sighs* the least you could do is put your dirty clothing in the hamper! And for Jergal's sake Bhaal, there is BLOOD stains all over my new carpet! By Shar breakfast is burning!!

Bane: You ever think Myrkul is a little primpy for a necromancer?

Bhaal: *crushes in the goblin's skull* um....maybe. I'm gunna go kill some farmers or something, k?

Bane: Just don't track in more blood or "his majesty" over there will have a hissy fit.

I read some of Ed's commentary on Making of a Mage last night and, whoa, not quite what I was expecting. He wrote that book in 16 DAYS?!? Damn. My respect for the guy has just shot up by a factor of about 11. It was also pretty funny how the whole switching classes thing came up, with the head of TSR wanting the novel to have Elminster shift from one of the base classes to another. Not quite what I was expecting, at all. Most impressive, though.

And I got most of the rest of my orders, today (Only thing I'm missing, now, is Forgotten Realms: The Legacy and Worlds of Dungeons & Dragons. And while I've ordered them, they don't come out for another month or two). And damn, I just got hit with a two-ton boulder of INDECISION! Do I read the novels, first, or the TPB adaptations? Usually I like reading the original source, first, but damn if these pictures don't look purty! And Baby Drizzt trying to levitate is funny as hell. :D

Hmm. I'm a fast reader, so I'll read the novels first. If I'm not done with them within the week, though, then I'll go ahead and read the TPB's.

You haven't heard of the new 4E Drizzt Trilogy? The book titles are as follows: "Tens of Thousands of CCC Cultists", "Sword-and-Board" and "The Lone Eladrin". I have this information from Salvatore himself! ;) :P
