Berwick 12-09-05, 02:01 PM	Hmm, question: Was Nalvara the Devil Dragon just really mean, or was s/he actually of a half-fiendish/fiendish nature? To avoid spoilers, I will not mention the book that the dragon is in, and to avoid the wrath of those who watch, I am NOT looking for a dissertation on the general review of the particular novel in question. Just looking at the actual nature/possible template used here. I know what color s/he was, just looking for a clarification on any template issues. Thanks, Berwick
Crust 12-09-05, 02:08 PM	I'd guess she'd be a colossal+ advanced great wyrm red dragon (Epic Level Handbook). Fiendish or half-fiend? That could make things interesting. I think the name "Devil" Dragon is just sort of a title or epithet.
tamashastrife 12-09-05, 06:10 PM	I seriously doubt she was a fiendish/half-fiend dragon, especially considering it's arguable she was REALLY a dragon in the first place. The name "Devil Dragon" was simply an honnorific and there was no hint of any devils or other outsiders in any of the book. Azoun IV was oftentimes called "The Purple Dragon" but he was hardly purple or a dragon. Statswise, in dragon form, she should be a red dragon of appropriate size. I don't remember how big exactly she was but making her a colossal advanced red dragon as Crust suggested sounds good.

Chosen of Bane 12-16-05, 09:23 AM	She was not fiendish in anyway. She was simply one badass Dragon! Advanced (Colossal) Great Wyrm Red Dragon is definitely appropriate and I think I read somewhere that is indeed what she was but I don't remember where.
