First_Legion 07-11-06, 11:16 AM	I am having trouble coming up with some names for some characters that I am thinking of using in a game. How do you guys come up with your names. Any information would be helpful. Thank you.
Teh_username 07-11-06, 12:29 PM	The most advice I can give you is to do what I do when stumped: look at the big "name" tables in Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting or Races of Faerun (there's a list there, right?), pick one that "flows" right, and then change the first or last syllable. For example, "Masoj" could become "Visoj" or "Massón"*. *of course, the various "name generators" or "phrasebooks" from back issues of Dragon magazine or the D&D Races Collection can help come up with meaningful names; I'm getting quite a lot of use out of the drow name prefix/suffix generator from Dragon #267, for example.
