| Jackhein09-22-05, 06:18 PM | Personally i was wondering what u guys thought about tobacco in FR. One of my NPCs is an avid smoker and i wondered where there were stats for tobacco or if somebody has made up their own. I figured it would prolly be a fairly easy to obtain substance in the world (particularly in the central southland), but im not sure about this. No book really makes any mentions of it. So tell me what u think. Jackhein |

| WVgamer09-22-05, 07:05 PM | not much on mechanics, but they're 10 gp a piece for cigars. amd 100 gp per pound for plain tobacco |

| WVgamer09-22-05, 09:11 PM | True....There was a form of tobacco in Faerun, called pipeweed, but this Nexalan tobacco has a richer flavor. Cigars are one of the possible rewards for my standard beginning adventure. |
| Thysl09-22-05, 11:35 PM | I had a product coming out of the Dalelands that was half ripe Maztican brownleaf tobacco and half hempweed. Called it Murhl. It gave you a little buzz if you smoked a pipe-bowl but anymore than that and you would get the worst headache of your life. Some of the more old fashioned sorts claimed the stuff was made by the Zhents and smuggled into the Dales in a plot to undermine the youth. The truth is a small enclave of Lliiran Joybringers and Revelmasters have been growing and experimenting with the stuff for years in Mistledale. |
