| silversai05-02-07, 02:34 PM | Whats up!!! I'm getting ready to start a campaign using the module "Barrow of the Forgotten King". So I need help trying to place the setting in the realms. The town named Kingsholm is located close to some hills. Please any feedback will gladly be apperciated. Thanks SS............ |
| Joggernutt05-02-07, 03:11 PM | Can you describe more of the area or is it just has hills? |
| Fillow05-02-07, 03:46 PM | What's the weather there ? the nature of ground ? is it near of ocean or lake ? What type of hills ? green or rocky ones ?... |
| squidfur-05-03-07, 02:50 PM | I'd suggest putting it near the Serpent Hills (in the Western Heartlands) or somewhere in the Vilhon Reach, especially if you're planning on using the follow up adventures (which deal with the yuan-ti, presumably in great number). |
| wtf_thats_my_head05-04-07, 07:40 PM | yes i like that yuan ti (yuan ti are wierd) |
| Imruphel05-08-07, 06:56 AM | Try the Sunset Vale somewhere near the Trielta Hills/Corm Orp and change the town name to something more interesting. Have the forgotten king be one of the ancient Talfir (horses were important to them, IIRC, and I seem to recall the statue of the king was of him mounted). The Sunset Vale is very close to the yuan-ti of the Serpent Hills. Try 2E's Volo's Guide to the Sword Coast for more information on the area. |
