| roguetrooper191601-08-05, 03:15 PM | Dear friend and R P G nuts having played for some years we changed to the new version only to find new problems this is mainly in reguard to epic level. Having reached level 21 i have some problems I have been playing a cleric of Tempus and not finding any prestige classes for tempus I decided to go cleric /warpriest (defenders of the faith) now the problem is do i get to go to the epic level priest in the epic book and go to level 21 or am i made to go to level 11 as a cleric 10 warpriest. Do i get the extra eipc feat for cleric or am i getting nothing, am i to add the 10 levels for warpriest as cleric levels or am i makeing a noob of myself god sometimes i wish i was still playing advanced d&d at least i new the rules. Yours with questions roguetrooper. Thank you. |

| Tempus66501-08-05, 04:25 PM | Is there an epic progression for the Warpriest?! Anyway, the moment you become a level 21 character you are considered epic. Since you get a feat at level 21, you can immediately choose an epic feat. You should also stop using the tables of the Cleric or Warpriest for calculating yopur BAB and save bonuses, and instead use the table in the Epic Level Handbook; table 1-1. It's really not that difficult. You won't get any bonus epic feats until your Cleric level reaches 21 or your Warpriest level hits 11 (if that is possible at all), but like I mentioned, being a level 21+ character you can take regular epic feats at the usual levels (21, 24, 27, etcetera). If you think this is too complicated, you might also want to check out the rules for epic progression in the Forgotten Realms campaing setting :) |
| roguetrooper191601-08-05, 05:47 PM | NO there is no progression table after 10th in the defenders of the faith handbook and there is no progression rules or tables in the or hints in the epic handbook so i can make my own and try to get the other players to agree. |
| Aznar Thrul01-09-05, 01:43 AM | if a prestige class, have 10 level you can advance it in the epic by creating it theres a book who describe it how i dont know wich book(i think i saw this in complete warrior or PGTF) |
| Aznar Thrul01-09-05, 01:57 AM | hmmm it was in complete warrior, and on page 210 of the dungeon master guide theres a note for epic classe wich can be apllied to epic prestige class. |
| warlockco01-09-05, 02:43 AM | NO there is no progression table after 10th in the defenders of the faith handbook and there is no progression rules or tables in the or hints in the epic handbook so i can make my own and try to get the other players to agree. Any Epic Progression Information on the War Priest would be in the Complete Divine, which also has the Revised to 3.5E rules version of the War Priest. |
| Xavier_of_Cormyr01-10-05, 03:42 AM | unless you have 21+ levels in a base class, cleric in your case, you DO NOT gain the bonus feats, abilities, etc. Your attack bonus & saves increase as per the epic progression table. Basically, if you're a cleric w/a prestige class, unless your base cleric levels exceed 20, you do not benefit from being an "epic cleric". You can however start selecting epic feats as your bonus feats. |
