wonderboy06 10-16-05, 10:34 PM	Ok, a little back story first. My half orc barbarian (Diwrnach) was in a party with a half-celestial half-elf paladin, a half-elf rogue/fighter, a half-elf cleric, an elf fighter, and a elf ranger. they were adventuring around Chondelwood, they discovered that it was pretty much unclaimed land and soon got the idea to claim it and build a stronghold. They pooled their cash, Diwrnach contrubuting about half of the gold they used to finance their construction project. a while later the group decided that they would try to make it a elf nation similar to Evermeet, but on main land Faerun. Soon after Diwrnach was kicked out of the fortress. and that were we are now...I need some suggestions as to what to do and how to do it. Or where to go and how to get there. I know I posted this same thing in Character Devlopment... but I dont seem to be geeting any feedback there...so sorry for the duplication.
Kuje31 10-16-05, 10:52 PM	What does the DM say? This is hard to answer without knowing whose "side" the DM is on...... But from you said, you are getting the short end of the stick both as a player and a PC.
wonderboy06 10-16-05, 11:07 PM	Im not really sure whos side the DM is one....Everyone in my group has a character in the "Elf Campaign" as we call it...I was running two...the half orc and the Fighter/Rogue of the group. Well a really crappy player got his character killed and I loaned my half orc to him for that session, he ended up getting into a fight with the leader and was brought to 0 hp (should have been killed but my DM didnt think that was fair because I wasnt playing him) and then removed from the fortress. But like I said I'm not sure whom the DM favors in the situation my half orc was slowly being pushed out of the picture and the fight just sped up the inevitable.

Thysl 10-17-05, 01:43 AM	I dunno man, maybe you should cut your loses with that PC, hand the character sheet to your DM and play the fighter/rogue exclusively. As a DM I would drool at the idea of having a former party member ousted in that manner, it makes a perfect villian. Of course the manner in which your DM came by it is a little dubious... Cainan 10-17-05, 01:44 AM	Any game where the PCs are fighting each other in any way is pretty much doomed. It sounds more like players have an issue with you personally or your char and just wanted to get rid of it, which to me shows them to be very bad RPers. I would suggest you start a new game with new people hehe.

A character got turned to evil and the player handed the character sheet to the DM and up until the game went on hiatus(sp?) he was one of the major antagonists of the adventure. It worked out quite well.
imrtl 10-17-05, 06:08 PM	Well hopefully the DM is neutral, he should not be on either side. Secondly if the DM decided it wasn't fair to kill your character because you weren't playing him. Then I would think its not really fair for the PC to banish the character for the same reason. My suggestions in no particular order: 1) kill the party off one at a time. 2) just retire and start a new character. Assuming the DM will let you. 3) if its a problem with the group attempt to find a new group. 4) if the character is still somewhat wealthy pay a mage to wish all the members to forget why they banished you.
