Need some help with a campaign [Archive] - Wizards Community

10-09-05, 01:38 PM Amateur DM trying to run a campaign using Forgotten Realms Capmaign Setting and Secret Colleg of Necromancy (http://www.greenronin.com/catalog/grr1014) Its for a request by a friend of mine who wants to play. He's using a Tielfing necromancer and we're curenty set up in Athkatla because I'm framiliar with the Baldur's gate series. I need a lot of help so if you have any ideas/suggestion don't hesitate.

I'm not familiar with the Green Ronin book presented, but it would make sense that this organization would be a front for a group like the Twisted Rune (Undead Epic characters, manipulating people for various reasons). Is your friend's PC good, evil, neutral? What are his goal's in life? What does he hope for in the campaign?

10-10-05, 09:14 AM Well, this college is basically an underground group of necromancers of all sorts. The character is evil... as for goals, he's most likely ambition so I'm trying to work on assention through the ranks of the college. He's an amateur player so the character developement is a little on the slack side and I'm not sure if he knows what he wants. I'd like to see a nice rich plot with his character pulling it together. Maybe there's a rival guild or something of that sort.

The hardest part for me is the NPC's though.

10-21-05, 09:29 PM The quetion is what can you do to make it interesting. You should try to introduce a teleport to another dimension that is a trap.
Where did you find necromancers. I would like to make a character.
