Brandon727 01-09-05, 12:27 PM	I've got a lot of core D&D books, but no CS type books. I also buy the minis, and I've gotten into some of the FR specific ones. I've looked through some of the FR books, like Unapproachable East, Serpent Kingdoms, and some others, but what do you guys recommend for starting out? (in v3.5 if possible)Other than the obvious FRCS book, which is a must. Thanks for the info before hand. Edit: Added thanks
Tempus665 01-09-05, 12:42 PM	To be quite honest, I love them all :) Serpent Kingdoms is perhaps the least area-focused of the 3.5 books. Underdark is also very sweet and tries to focus on the entire Underdark and not just a smaller region. If any, I'd advice one of these two.
Xavier_of_Cormyr 01-10-05, 03:46 AM	well, if you're looking for something not too specific, Lords of Darkness is great. It details a bunch of nasty NPCs, evil org's, and its a good source of inspiration. Magic of Faerun helps expand the campaign for obvious reasons. But I'd personally go for the best 3e/3.5 FR book out there... Sliver Marches. Hands down the best supplement out there. That region is the place to be in 3.5 FR.
Lashan 01-10-05, 06:44 AM	I would say that the best book (3.5E) that they have made and has a universal appeal is the RACES OF FAERUN book. It can be used by both players and DMs and it gets into a lot of history of all the various races, but especially the human cultures. It's one of the best FR books I have ever seen. Beyond that, don't forget to download all the previous edition stuff, especially the Volo's Guide books.
