I have the standard FRCS 3e, and need it all updated to 3.5, has WotC released some pdf or something so I can convert all the classes ans stats to 3.5?

I cannot buy the Player's Guide to just update everything, I can't believe WotC would make oyu buy a whole new book just to update.

It is not necessary, but it is very useful. I see no other way of updating, except for going to the game store and looking through the book to see (and write down?) the major changes.

The 3.5 rules, free for the taking..
http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=d20/article/srd35

These documents contain all the latest 3.5 edition rules and you can read which ones you want or make up a PHB or DMG of the 3.5 edition rules and print and bind it to have a good reference, they are all in word documents.

I am not going to buy the 3.5 core books either as a lot of the art is the same and I don't mind updating with the SRD. There is also a pdf file which gives you the lowdown on changes which is what you can then look for in the SRD, go to the Wizards.com/dnd downloads section for that.

In addition, although the 3.5 DMG contains the new version of the Red Wizard, the 3.5 Prestige Classes SRD does not, because the Red Wizard is an original concept as opposed to a generic fantasy archetype, thus it isnt Open Gaming Content.

As for a more general revision of the FRCS, you really dont need to totally revise everything. The majority of the changes revolved around things like Spellpower and mitigating the ability to raise a spell save DC other than through feats and ability score increases. Usually if all I need to know is the changes to just one specific PrC or Spell or Feat, and not the rest of the book's info, then I just use the search function on Amazon.com to check out that specific page in th book (although there is a strict limit on how many pages you can actually preview).

Personally I would recommend buying the PGtF is all you own is the FRCS, simply because it contains more than just the updated content for the FRCS, but also revised content from other FR supplements, plus some extra new stuff too.
