I'm new to the Forgotten Realms system and I was wondering about adventures for it. I've used D&D (d20) adventures for a long time but have used most all of the adventures by now. My question is:
What recent adventures are out for Forgotten Realms? The only one I've seen (though I havent really looked hard for them) is "The City of the Spider Queen".
Thanks for your help! :)

That is the only 3e adventure for FR, except for those printed in Dungeon and the few that are in the FRCS and Silver Marches......

WOTC has said they won't be making any more modules since they don't sell well, but then again they are making a few for Eberon...... :)

Dragonsbane1313 listen to Kuje! He is a sexpert ...... expert on FR. As for adventures you can change many low level adventures from 2ed to 3rd very easy. Try, The Twisted Tower that is 1-3 level and converts in 10 minutes.

Into the Dragon's Lair based in Cormyr and written by Sean K Reynolds

Pool of Radiance - Attack on Myth Drannor is another 3rd Edition adventure written by Sean K Reynolds

Unless you've played those already.

There's also a few adventures set in the Realms that are found in Dungeon Magazine. Back issues are (relatively) easy to come by.

Thanks, but.....
...I need an adventure for characters starting at somewhere between levels 1-4. That gets rid of the "Into the Dragons Lair" adventure for me.
and...
... I the "Pool of Radiance" got horrible reviews on Amazon. Plus I dont know what level characters its for.
I'll keep looking. Meanwhile, any suggestions will not be ingnored.

Do they have to be FR adventures or only WOTC adventures? There are many for FR from the old rules but you would have to convert them.

If you want 3rd party d20 adventures there are tons of them. Sword & Sorcery prints some great ones. The Crucible of Freya is a nice low level adventure and it's packed with side quests......

I really dont want to convert anything. I would prefer something from Forgotten Realms of d20. I've used the adventures in that one series starting with "The Sunless Citadel" and ending with "The Bastion of Broken Souls". I liked those a whole lot! Something easy like that with on complicated conversions. Also preferably something recent...

Yay! I found one that might work. "The Accursed Tower" looks promising. I do have a couple questions if people feel like answering for a Forgotten Realms "retard" like me.LOL. Ok.

1.) Would this adventure be appropriate for 1st level characters
AND
2.) How old is this module. Looking at the cover, I'd say its at least >5 years old.

THANKS A WHOLE LOT!!

THANKS A WHOLE LOT!!

You'll have to convert it since it's 2e and it takes place in the North near Ten Towns. There are many FR modules from 1e and 2e but you have to convert them to 3/3.5.....

Drizzt and Regis also make a appearance in it, but it was a low level adventure in 2e.

Honestly your better off looking for 3rd party d20 adventures as I said. There are some really good ones out there.....

Not sure if this helps but we put together a list of the last 16 years of printed modules for FR here:

Okay there are only three 3e modules as we said, except for those found in Dungeon Magazine. Or those in the FRCS and Silver Marches.

Pool of Radiance:Attack on Myth Drannor
Into the Dragons Lair
City of the Spider Queen

Now Accursed Tower is a low level adventure. Haunted Halls of Eveningstar is also. Sword of the Dales Trilogy is. As is Doom of Daggerdale. I think the Shadowdale adventure in the 2e box set is also low level.

However all of them need to be converted.

Dungeon Magazine Issue 87

The Raiders of Galath's Roost.

It is made for 1st level characters and is a good introductory adventure. Check it out if you can locate it.

Can someone provide a rundown of what Into the Dragon's Lair is all about? Does it feature Nalavara at all?

Cormyr is in bad shape, and with a massive dragon lying dead in the field there is a treasure horde to be sought. Greed draws many, someone, however, are working for the greater good. They hope to obtain the treasure before all the ragtag adventuring groups and then put it to use in the rebuilding of Cormyr.

The adventure leads across the battered landscape of Cormyr to the secret planar entrance to the city of Grodd and beyond that to Nalavarathatoryl's (I can't remember how to spell that, pardon the disaster), elven lair, and some old companions of hers.
