I've downloaded a few free ones from the D&D Adventure Archive (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/oa/20030530b) but was wondering if anyone knew of another F.R. source that I could check out & download. Thanks in advance!

Downloadable official low-level Realms adventures: FRQ1 Haunted Halls of Eveningstar, FRQ3 Doom of Daggerdale, The Sword of the Dales, The Secret of Spiderhaunt, The Return of Randal Morn, N5 Under Illefarn, from Paizo.com

There are more if you relax one or more of those requirements.

I was in the same boat a few weeks ago and started a very similar post here (http://forums.gleemax.com/showthread.php?t=910301). I got a lot of great advice and ended up finding a great 1st level adventure called An Icy Grave (for free) over at RPG Archive. It drips with atmosphere and is paced very well. Perfect if you need something right now.

After the first session I started taking my group through Mysteries of the Moonsea. It has adventures from level 1 - 18. You can run them as individual adventures but they're also linked together to create an entire campaign. It may be a little hard to find in brick-and-mortar stores but I got mine from Amazon.

Good luck.

Dungeon Magazine #87 has an adventure set in the Dalelands, 'Galath's Roost' for level 1s, if you can find back issues. :D

As a piece of advice, if you are new to DMing, is to play a short starting adventure as is, without changes. Then use another adventure and try to make one change or two: see if they work and if they give fun to your players. If it is so, it's time for a short adventure (3 to 7 encounters) entirely made by you.
From there on, you'll start doing adventures on your own, rather than using published ones, and I think it's much more funny both for you and your players.
