the scenario goes like this...
Ln halfelf betrays Cg elven crusade to summon and slay tiamat in Unthalass before murdering an elven heroe in self defense at the climax of the story(when all parties know of the betrayal) Because the betrayal was righteous(tiamats primary function in the multiverse lay in the blood war, she guards the entrance to the second level of baator against the forces of the abyss) the Ln halfelf is on his way to evermeet to stand trial for crimes against corellon larethian, is his amnesty based on whether the tribunal(or whatever) is mainly Lg or Cg elves?
what do you think the most likely outcome is?

Well....being a 1/2 elf <and unless he is either a priest or follower of C.L.> then the whole "crimes against C.L." thing doesnt hold water....his crime would be betraying the crusade and killing said hero....that being said, i would say that he would end up in "exile", shunned by most of the elven race. IMO anyway :)

An elven tribunal would be chaotic Good just as the vast majority of the race is, but I side with Goth wulf on the punishment of exile from the elven community as a whole unless that said hero was some kinda ubber elf with lots o' palls then I would say that you are in all likelyhood going to die.

I vote that they rob him of whatever elven longevity his half elven state grants him by stripping his soul, and exile him with his sister into the world of humans where his sister takes on a vampiric state to assuage the pain of losing her soul but he (the protagonist) plots to regain his soul by stealing the divine essence of one of the many children of bhaa...

Ummm, I get the feeling that this has been done before.
