| Mythrender02-10-06, 07:39 PM | When I heard that there was going to be a on-line D&D similar to EverQuest... I was elated... Now that I hear it is going to be set in Eberr runt... I am totaly crestfallen..... :weep: We need to get a movement going... Make the powers that be hear our voices.....NO EBERRON !!!!! NO EBERRON!!!  WE WANT FORGOTTEN REALMS!!!!!!!!!!! :) or at least Greyhawke!!! Come on Peeps ... Speak ..... Heck YELLL !!!!! |
| GothicDan02-10-06, 07:42 PM | ... No! |
| Old Sparky02-10-06, 08:58 PM | It'd never work... everyone would be wandering around looking for Drizzt, Elminster, and a few others... just trying to kill them to say they did it. Greyhawk, I wouldn't mind; however I do find myself in agreement about disliking Eberron as the setting for D&D Online. I also like the Eberr runt reference. :D |
| Kid SixXx02-10-06, 09:33 PM | WE WANT FORGOTTEN REALMS!!!!!!!!!!! :) You've got it already. It's called Neverwinter Nights. You should buy a copy and support your beloved setting. Here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?t=584053) is a link to the other thread. Click on it & read my comments about why a FR MMOG is a really bad idea. |
| Calrond02-12-06, 01:37 AM | That's absolutely true, and there IS a live model of the Forgotten Realms spread over about 13 servers. http://alandfaraway.org Check it out, it is well worth buying NWN for if you're a FR fan. Calrond (hardcore NWN junkie for the past 4 years) |
| Old Sparky02-12-06, 02:09 PM | NWN... ehhh, it was good for its time, but I've grown bored with it. |
