For about a year now I have been desperatly searching the internet for the stats of Pikel Bouldershoulder. I'm actually suprised that they weren't posted on the Realms Personalities (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/rp/20031203a) section on the main page. If anyone has any ideas whatsoever, I would much appriciate it.

Check this out. It's on the novels page at the Wizards website. You'll find stats for Catti-brie, Regis, Ivan and Pikel, and some the magical items they used. Click here. (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=books/fr/lonedrowstats)

IMO, there are characters that just don't translate well to hard stats, and Pikel is a prime example of that. As someone who's peaked a god's interest, he can do whatever the situation needs, but rarely does the same thing twice, or rely on one trick. That doesn't work for stats. If I ever needed to DM him, I'd forget his druid levels and just have him cast whatever he needed at the moment, often going for the humorous as a way of mitigating that power.

Many thanks for the site; its just what I was looking for. Also I completely agree about Pikels spellcasting. His spells usually seem to come at random, so he will make an excelent NPC. :)

Most characters from the novels don't translate well into game stats, thinks I. It's simply the result of authors who are writing stories, not modules. I'm certainly not knocking it -- it's a natural effect. What makes a good read won't necessary make an easy to translate into number character.

That's a lot of the reason I don't worry about stats of characters from the novels. Though I will grant that sometimes you need to know them... I just try to avoid needing them.

Bear in mind I wrote those stats before the events of the most recent book so as not to include spoilers. Pikel demonstrates greatly expanded powers now and should probably add a couple levels, maybe more....

I would say Pikel's also missing a few important things after the last novel :)
