The Gel Man 11-13-04, 05:17 PM	I've been looking into getting a rule book on the planes for a campaign set in the realms, but I couldn’t find any fr specific material, is there any?

chme 11-13-04, 06:25 PM	If you have or are gonna get older FR material, you might wanna consider using Planescape sources together with what can be found at www.planewalker.com. It can be hard to get hold of, but is well worth it. Imo it's some of the very best stuff from a golden age of rpg. I really wish someone would buy the license and resurrect the setting :/.
FineasBoggs 11-13-04, 10:30 PM	Depends on what version of the planes you like. Some argue that the older version is much more consistent and fits in better with almost every other source. Not to mention that while the PGtF does a decent job of describing the planes, it does little to integrate other material into it's cosmology.
Gray Richardson 11-14-04, 08:31 PM	Players Guide to Faerun has the best most current information about the new planar setup. There is a little bit in the FRCS too.
