I've always liked the planescape setting and was wondering about superimposing it on the realms. But which gods from the realms would be living where? Do any of you have ideas about it? |

High-level campaign play in the 'original' Realms centered on PCs (unwittingly, at first) running afoul of some of these power groups [that fought to control gates], getting caught in the ongoing wars between them, and ending up as one such power group themselves. In the end, this Zelazny's Amber/Farmer's World of Tiers scope of play was handled differently by TSR (as Planescape). As for using material written for the original AD&D planar structure with the new Realms one, all you need to do is consider both models as approximations to a deeper, mysterious, transcendent reality which the players don't fully understand; which is how Ed always handled it. Both systems' inter-plane links should be possible. |

Or you can find the old Demihuman Deities, Powers & Pantheons, and Faiths & Avatars. It listed where almost all the demihuman and human god/dess live. On Hallowed Ground is also a great Planescape book for other pantheons, like the humanoids, fey, and others. |
