I know the thing hasn't been released yet, but can anyone tell me what they think it is going to be like? Is it like Forgotten Realms Adventures was to 2e? Or is it like the Players Guide to Forgotten Realms?

I play in 3e and I have all the 3e/3.5e books except RoF and FaP, so if it is just an update to 3.5e I'm not interested. However, if there is lots of new "flavour" then I may buy it.

From what I hear it's a must. It has over 25 PrC's, new spells and all that jazz.

I'm guessing its going to have some 3.5 updates for sure, and alot of Crunchy stuff, more PrC's etc.

I'm hoping for less Crunch more Fluff...but one can only dream I have so many PrC's now it takes my group at least a week to figure out their character....

Well, if you don't need the 3.5e update, then don't pick it up. The FRCS can still be used with 3.5e (with a few rules tweaks), plus it has all the fluff.

For the sake of order of chaos, to prevent the general forum getting swamped, and to preserve and my own sanity I am going to try to herd most of the discussion of "Players Guide To Faerun" into one thread. I've picked the oldest one here (http://boards1.wizards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=193907). Pretty, pretty please can you continue your discussion there  Thanks.

This isn't a reflection of quality or the esteem in which I hold those who began the thread ... it is just the oldest thread with the most info :)
