| Tamsar11-23-04, 06:09 PM | Does anybody know who the Paladin/Cleric type is who is portrayed on the back cover of the book fighting the Bone Devils? Furthermore what type of weapon is it, that he's wielding? Is it a stylised Battle Axe/Great Axe? The weapon strikes me most as being like a Bardiche (Axe type Polearm). Any ideas? IMO this piece of art is even more striking than the actiual art on the front cover. TIA |

In CotsQ he is shown with a large dancing (is that the ability?) shield. His sun elf wizard companion is Arevain from Rich Baker's Forsaken House. |

The other DM in our group used one on me first, and then got upset when I used it also in his Epic game. Animated Shield and Two-Weapon Fighting :D And not that is not a Glaive, it more like a strange Bardiche/Halberd than a Glaive. A Glaive is more like a "sword-blade" on a stick. A good example from the orient is the Naginata. Whatever it is, it is funky. |
