| CuttinCurt06-23-05, 05:54 PM | I would love to play in one of these, but I never can seem to find a place where these games start. Is it like a play by email type game? or is it where you meet online and play for several hours with everyone in a chat window. Just curious if anyone knows where these games start, and if there are any good DM's out there that do this. CC |

Just curious if anyone knows where these games start, and if there are any good DM's out there that do this. CC Various games are played in both those manners. I've seen a lot of play-by-email games, but I and a group of friends run ours in chat windows. It's great when you can't find a local group you want to play with, but have friends from around the world in a similar situation. The group I play with has had people from not just all over the US, but Canada, Sweden, Poland, the UK, and several other places! I do believe there is an section on this very section somewhere on these boards.... Ah, yes, just go to the "RPG Classifieds" section at the bottom of the main page! |

| Deathhammer06-25-05, 07:57 PM | i got a game going on.just scroll down and look for deathhammer.it says IM STARTING A ONLINE GAME |
| Misery_The_Duelist06-25-05, 08:56 PM | The only thing about the many online games I've been involved in is that combat can soak up alot of time so more rp is needed, and if you have more time then the others to post, you find yourself waiting a couple of days for someone else to post to. That's at least my experience with PBP or e-mail. Now finding a game that meets once a week in a chatroom or something would be PERFECT! |
| CuttinCurt06-27-05, 09:38 AM | Thanks for the replies, I will look for some of these types of games and hopefully find something fun to do. I have a local game that meets once a month, and that is not enough of a fix for me. So, I must find one more venue to curb my desire to play some good 3.5 AD&D. if anyone wants me to play with them, email me at csheldon@gamesystemsinc.com thanks, CC |
