Depending on the timeline you're using, you may have to change this drastically. The Shadovar have sealed Myth Drannor off in a globe of shadow so they can hunt down and destroy the Phaerimm living there. IMC the CoD has been "evicted" and moved through that portal that the module starts with into (bum.bum.bum.bum) the Silver Marches.

So now there's a big homeless CoD cell roaming around the marches looking for a new home.

I'm running it right now, in fact. It's very early in the campaign, just after the PCs are ambushed (see the Bushwhacked encounter at the beginning), and they have just found Handragath's tower that contains the portal to Myth Drannor.

I've only carefully read through the first few chapters, and it seems fine, although the reviews are mixed. My only concern is making sure that the PCs feel a strong hook to continue it through to the end. In other words, I want them to want to figure out what's happening and thward the CotD plans.

I didn't care for the two gnomes part of it, it seemed kind of tacked on, and too convenient that the captured gnome was just about to be slaughtered as the PCs show up, and - hey! - there's the other one climbing up over the edge of the wall just in the nick of time! I've replaced the gnomes with a scout from a neutral-leaning group of drow whose community is uncomfortably close to the polyandrium, and is investigating purely for the purposes of protecting her people (two of whom have been captured and zombified in the last tenday).

Also, I tied this adventure into the 1st level 3.0 adventure The Sunless Citadel. I had it placed in Thesk as an old CotD fortress, and Handragath was the mentor of one of the adventurers who went missing, so he had a reason to lure them into the Pool of Radiance stuff. Let me know if you want more details on this.

And thanks, Dargoth, for the Author's Note link; I hadn't seen that before.

I'd be happy to keep you posted, though we play only once every 4-6 weeks, so it'll take some time to get through this.
