You may have noticed that reminder about posting to the correct forum has just gone up on each board (save the FAQ) under FR.

I understand that it just happens sometimes, I'm just trying to cut it down as much as possible.

To do that, I'd like everyone's help.

If you know of a reason why threads might get innocently posted in the wrong place, please tell me.

If you have an idea as to how to fix any of the reasons something might get posted in the wrong place, please tell me.

Talk to me, let me know how I can help keep everything properly filed. :) If you're wondering why this is so important, just imagine the messiest filing system you've ever seen or heard of--you can't find a thing! That's what would become of these boards if everyone just posted anything anywhere.

Help me work on this. I'm listening :)

Thanks in advance.

Yes in fact it does ;)

You may not see it much in your every day posting, but that's because we WizOs move them. Yep, when a thread is in the wrong place and it's a first time offence we move 'em to the right ones for you so you will not have the cluttered boards I was mentioning above.

I'm trying to cut down on these first time offenses. What I've done toward that end so far is posted a stickied reminder specifically regarding posting to the correct forum on every FR board but the FAQ (where it has not happened since I've been here).

I'm looking for ways to perhaps clarify, or issues that need to be solved, so I won't have to just crack down on this and drive everyone crazy. :)
