12-03-04, 12:33 AM For my next character I want to play a Fey'ri. I only want to play a +1LA. What do you think should be removed to make it a +1? I figure the wings, darkvision and 2 of the 4 demonic abilities. Do you think this would be enough or to much? Is alter self to powerful to keep for a +1?

Technically going with the layout in Savages Species, if you took away the wings completely that would make you +1 ECL. The power of Flight is +1 ECL on its own.

12-03-04, 03:45 AM Ok, but alter self alows you to have wings(if the form you change into has wings). So is this realy giveing up a +1 for droping flight?

12-03-04, 07:31 AM Then you should change the alter self ability into a minor version, like Disguise self spell, or the Minor Change Shape ability of the Changling.
