How the heck does the Teflemmar Shadowlord's spellcasting work? It's a Prestige Class from the Unnapproachable East book, in case you don't know.

It says "as a wizard" but then it says he gets spells per day AND spells known according to the table. So does he have a spellbook like a wizard, a base number of spells known as the table, and can learn any spell from the TeflShad list? Or does he know only the number of spells listed in the table, more like a sorcerer, but just use intelligence as his casting stat instead of Cha?

My DM and I had a discussion about this, and he decided to say that they cast as a sorcerer using the table for spells per day and spells known, but use Int instead of Cha. I'm still not convinced that's what it means, and of course I'd rather be able to learn all the spells on the list eventually and pick the ones to memorize in a given day, like a wizard would.

It works exactly like the assassin does.

Which ASSASSIN?

The 3.0 or the 3.5 assassin?
