He gives access to the suffering domain.

The spells on that list include but are not limited to, Enervation, horrid wilting, Bestow Curse and Bane.

Ilmater is lawful good. Does this mean that casting these spells won't be an evil act?

I am confused, and could use some clarification.

None of those spells were evil in 3.0 no matter which god granted them.

In 3.5 eyebite and symbol of pain are [evil] spells, so they'd be impossible for a good or a neutral positive-aligned cleric to cast. Going by the book, unless you want to wait for a (possible) revision of the domain or stick to 3.0 versions of the spells, you'll need to choose the spells of those levels from your other domain only.

It (and other 3.5 inconsistencies in FR) will all probably be revised in the forthcoming Player's Guide... and we'll all just be playing wrong until the book comes out and have to change and just ignore our past wrongness.
