MooseTracks 06-21-03, 08:25 PM	Can anyone tell me all the creations that are exclusively Thayvian? Including abandoned, used, magical weapons, constructs or anything else that might exist. I know they do a lot of research/creation/experimentation/selling/trading of all things magical, but not what they are. The only thing I am familiar with is the Thayan Golem.

The Simbul 06-22-03, 02:26 AM	Tattoo Magic-while i doubt they originally invented it themselves, they do make alot of use of it. Aznar Thrul, along with a few other Zulkir compariots did expend a large amount of rescources in the creation of Gemstone Golems, used in one of the many failed invasion attempts launched against Rashemen. Red Wizards are also well known for their last ditch/suicide magic, which took form in AD&D 2nd edition as the "Spell Lash" spell and takes form in 3rd edition with the use of Contingent Magic which usually triggers destructive Area Effect spell upon themselves when they are slain or defeated. Usually through use of the Craft Contingent Spell feat (usually set to trigger a Fireball or similar spell when they are slain) or through some variants of Tattoo Spells. The river-canals of Eltabbar were created to serve as large-scale mystic rune-like wards to maintain the imprisonment of a very powerful Tanari' Lord who had been summomed and used to defeat the Mulhorandi armies in Thay's war of "independence". While Thayan ingenuity has declined much over the centuries, this still was somewhat of a exeptional acchievement. Thayan Bombards are rather potent tools of siege warfare, and my spies inform me of a vessel known as the Red Scourge, which effectively is a sea vessel made of iron and kept aloft via levitation spells.
Druxus Rhym 07-08-03, 10:20 PM	Also the thayan bombarb(magical cannon found in Unappoachable East) the night blade +1 that's +2 against good oppontents and the Ebon whip i would desrcibe it but it's too long so look in the Lords Of Darkness for the old ver. or Unappoachable East for the revised Version.
