Question of a Psion Power... [Archive] - Wizards Community

Hope that's enough space. Now, here's my question. When Entreri kills Drizzt near the end, it is due to a psionic power cast upon him by the Drow. The power takes all of the punishment, and then - when you attack - you unleash that same force, all at one time, on the other person. After Drizzt attacked entreri while the psionic power was activated, Entreri attacked - this killed Drizzt, I assume, then he was brought back.

My question, now, is this. What exactly is the power? I know it probably belongs to the Psion class and is in the Psionic Handbook, but can anyone tell me which power it is? I've looked, but for some reason I couldn't seem to find it.

10-08-03, 09:31 PM The power isn't a 3rd edition power it's from 2e. However it's not in the Complete psionics handbook. I think it might be in the Deck of Psionic powers which I'll have to check at home. I think it's Kinetic Shield. It's definitely a Psychokinetic power, a science I think.

It was converted to 3E as an Epic-Level Spell (would be an Epic-Level Psionic Power as well).

10-08-03, 10:03 PM Kinetic Control from The Will and the Way, the Dark Sun psionics accesory. The power description says it's area of effect is personal, so Salvatore took a little license with it.
