| bluestofangels12-21-05, 02:31 AM | I have a question. I know it sounds ridiculous and a lot of people are probably going to tell me I'm wasting my time, but I'm going to ask anyhow. What would be the best avenue to get a piece of fiction (that doesn't conflict with canon) exposure to the FR Novels Dept? I'm not saying an address for the publishing company. I realize actually sending in a novel is not going to accomplish squat. I'm just looking for the best means in which to put my writing out there and get the most attention/exposure from the powers that be on the FR novel staff to observe. A chance to _show_ this story has merit if you will. In short, put my money where my mouth is. Perhaps you're all wanting to know the same. I'm only approximately third or a fourth of the way done, but the first chunk is always the most difficult for me. I've recently in the course of a month or two tripled the books size and I'm just entering break. The rest of the book is the fun part to boot. . . |

I want people who really know their Faerun. While I am an avid player sometimes I do miss things that I should have in my writing. |
