Martin series A clash of fire and ice is simply one of the most awesome series ever written. Next to Conan and Lord of the Rings of course (actually I haven't read them since that travesty produced by Peter Jackson, may he burn in the abyss, ruined it for me)...As for salvatore, well, I quit reading him when he reffered to a character as a high level wizard in story... :( What precisely was it that made our overlords, may they live forever, ban novel discussion? were too many people giving away plotlines or baiting? :confused:

I won't talk about the immense fantasticalness of A Song of Ice and Fire or how awesome the D20 supplement is. They took out feats that seemed too mechanically-inclined, just to promote better roleplaying. How awesome is that?!

And of course, the classic Drizz't series. Drizz't's first trilogy was very good. as well as the most recent. Forgive me, I'll banked out on the names.

WizO_Lyoness 12-29-05, 08:30 PM	One of the main reasons that you are not even allowed to ask about favorite novels is just as illustrated above. There seems to be too much temptation to bash authors, artists, film directors etc. You are entitled to your opinion but this kind of opinion, the kind that involves advertising how you feel about another human human being, usually only leads to offense and disruption and so does not belong on our public forum.
