| Zeik_Sephiroth11-30-06, 07:53 PM | If Artemis Entreri was born a drow, would he still be Drizzts equal?:plotting: |
| Ramenth11-30-06, 08:19 PM | That would depend entirely on his position in society. He'd have had a totally different life. With the same level of training he had as a human, he'd probably be on par/better than Drizzt. If he was born a slave and died at the age of 13, probably not. |
| Lord Karsus12-01-06, 01:01 AM | -If Artemis Entreri is born a Drow, how do you know that Drizzt will even be born? |
| Aratharn12-02-06, 03:42 PM | because artemis is younger than drizzt;) |
| Lord Karsus12-02-06, 07:10 PM | because artemis is younger than drizzt;) -But in a universe where Artemis Entreri is born a Drow, what are the odds that Drizzt Do'Urden is born a Drow? Why not a Shou warrior? Or, a Halfling explorer? |
| THETUNNELRAT12-02-06, 07:16 PM | ,or a Kobold ranger :thinks: :looloo: |
| Lord Karsus12-02-06, 07:19 PM | ::Shrugs:: -Or, a Kobold Ranger... |
| THETUNNELRAT12-02-06, 07:34 PM | I like the scaly little bugers and bad grammar :88E: |
| empty12-03-06, 04:35 AM | How will Drizzt die (soon, please)? |
| Aratharn12-03-06, 04:59 AM | the way he dies will be quite simple actually, one day he won't react fast enough to evade a sword aimed at his neck or an arrow or someting else, it's the way most combatants die |
| Yakostovian12-03-06, 05:32 AM | Why do Paladins of Slaughter even have a code of conduct? |
| DavidBedlam12-03-06, 10:04 AM | Why do Paladins of Slaughter even have a code of conduct? Because it's impolite to brutally slay someone without saying "Thank you" afterwards. |
| GothicDan12-04-06, 12:28 AM | When will the new Realms self-implode under its own ton of BS? |
| Dark Wizard12-04-06, 12:30 AM | When Gond decides to allow black holes to exist in the Realms and applies the idea to crystal spheres. |
| GothicDan12-04-06, 12:33 AM | Oh, sir, that answer brings a smile to my face. Now I'm going to try to go back to bed and ignore life's ailments. :) |
| Lord Karsus12-04-06, 02:03 PM | -Be careful of those "Paladins" of Slaughter, too. Terrible people, those "Paladins" of Slaughter. |
| Zeik_Sephiroth12-04-06, 06:57 PM | I think you people misundrestand the whole concept of "Real questions, made up answers". You first answer the previous persons post with a completely made up random answer that probably has nothing to do with the question you are answering except that you are answering the question that was asked with that answer. Then you ask a real question that could be something that you think someone would come up with a funny answer for. This thread is entirely for the fun of posting something then watching someone else post something completely random. Now, let's try this again. What would happen if Entreri switched places with Drizzt? |
| Lord Karsus12-04-06, 07:03 PM | :noway: -That's not the least bit funny. Just let the thread wither and die, or at least, get filled with innane spam... |
| Ramenth12-05-06, 01:14 AM | I think you people misundrestand the whole concept of "Real questions, made up answers". This thread is entirely for the fun of posting something then watching someone else post something completely random. Now, let's try this again. What would happen if Entreri switched places with Drizzt? At the current point in the books? Entrei would continue to be emo-esq, and probably eventually wind up back at Jar's side. Drizzt would probably help Jar kill some Orcs and then go back to Mithral Hall... to kill more orcs. Or, alternativly, if they actually swapped bodies they would wind up in a face-off style show down. Why is it that Gnomes specialize in Illusion magic. I mean, seriously, what does being a gnome have to do with illusions?! |
| Karsus the Mad12-05-06, 03:24 AM | If Artemis Entreri was born a drow, would he still be Drizzts equal?:plotting: A. No, because Thortam Rosenwell has a farmstead in the Great Dale and has been having a difficult time with his harvest these past few years. Q. How many chops does it take to get to the center of a beholder? What would happen if Entreri switched places with Drizzt? A. They'd have the largest wedgy in recorded history. OR, Entreri would teach Cattie some really rogue-ish techniques (and I'm not talking fighting styles). Q. After having reached the center of a beholder, what does it's innards smell like? Why is it that Gnomes specialize in Illusion magic. I mean, seriously, what does being a gnome have to do with illusions?! A. Because a gnome happened to glance at the Nether Scrolls and gained great insight into illusion magic and passed the understanding on to the rest of the gnomes. Or, maybe gnomes knack for illusion magic is in and of itself an illusion:plotting: Sneaky gnomes.... Q. What does blue dragon taste like? |
| Galad12-05-06, 01:18 PM | Q. How many chops does it take to get to the center of a beholder? A: With a Greataxe? I'll go with 3. Q. After having reached the center of a beholder, what does it's innards smell like? A: Last time I checked pizza. New York Style. Q. What does blue dragon taste like?[/QUOTE] A: Fillet Mignion if cooked right. Otherwise chicken. P.S. I actually think the answer to the gnome question was pretty good and could be true. Didnt gnomes steal the Nether Scrolls from Netheril? |
| Lord Karsus12-05-06, 05:17 PM | P.S. I actually think the answer to the gnome question was pretty good and could be true. Didnt gnomes steal the Nether Scrolls from Netheril? -The first part of that answer was true, yes. |
| Karsus the Mad12-05-06, 09:04 PM | Yes, I actually gave a true answer:) In FR, gnome affinity with illusion magic truly is due to a single gnome having glanced at the Nether Scrolls and passed the knowledge on:D Congrats on discovering a truly true aspect of FR in this whacky questionaire:) P.S. Chicken? Are you sure? Last time I ate blue dragon it was dry and stringy...almost like turkey... |
| Ryltar Swordsong12-08-06, 05:10 AM | Q. How many chops does it take to get to the center of a beholder? Q. After having reached the center of a beholder, what does it's innards smell like? Q. What does blue dragon taste like? A1. 2. Not more than 2. Maybe 3. At least that's what that gully dwarf said. Which leads to an interesting story that takes place in the Hive Ward of Sigil.... A2. Lavender and pumpkin. A3. Soylent Yellow. Q. What would happen if Catti-brie dumped Drizzt and started dating Regis? |
| Karsus the Mad12-08-06, 10:56 PM | Q. What would happen if Catti-brie dumped Drizzt and started dating Regis? We'd know of a new definition of "short head" |
| BrennonGoldeye12-08-06, 11:05 PM | To quote my dear friend Schlomo Burrfoot... "It's not the size of your sword, but the sting of it's prick." All appologies to the Burrfoot clan for mentioning Schlomo.. |
| Ramenth12-08-06, 11:31 PM | Question: How many gnome puns can you tell a gnomeish group before they snap and try to kill you? |
| Dxzauvrinn12-09-06, 01:37 AM | Question: How many gnome puns can you tell a gnomeish group before they snap and try to kill you? Ahhh, you've finally figured it out too! For a while, I thought I was the only one who realized that gnomes are the secretly serial killers. They're responsible for the fall of Netheril, Imaskar and many other nations. Whew, it's good to know someone knows this too. I thought I was going a little crazy there while. |
| Zsych12-09-06, 05:01 AM | My opinion.. with them both being drow... Artemis would probably be much better than Drizzt. Where Drizzt was taught by Zaknafein, the best teacher available among the drow, Enteri as far as I can tell, mostly gained his abilities in a self-taught fashion on the street. With proper training early on, and a desire to surpass others for Enteri... I'm sure Drizzt would have looked up to Enteri as his rival, if they were together in Melee Maghtere(badly misspelled I think) --- Is Enteri planning to travel back in time, and be born as a drow(possibly in house Baenre?) --- Also, I suspect that in a different life, he would also turn out different personality-wise. His upbringing on the streets and rotten experiences as a youth might well have been as bad or worse than what Drizzt experienced overall, with his sister(to some degree) and later his father wanting to protect him. |
| Ryltar Swordsong12-09-06, 08:31 AM | Is Enteri planning to travel back in time, and be born as a drow(possibly in house Baenre?) Yes, after he finds the magical spelljammer ship, Lollipop the Good. But it will cause a time paradox that turns Drizzt into Drizztina, priestess of Lolth. Q. Who would win a bikini mud wrestling Battle Royale between the Seven Sisters? |
| BrennonGoldeye12-10-06, 12:24 AM | Q. Who would win a bikini mud wrestling Battle Royale between the Seven Sisters? Who cares as long as we get to watch.... |
| Yakostovian12-10-06, 10:47 AM | Q. Who would win a bikini mud wrestling Battle Royale between the Seven Sisters? The answer is: anyone sexually attracted to women. |
| GothicDan12-10-06, 10:59 AM | Ew, gross! (Women AND mud.) |
| Lord Karsus12-10-06, 06:34 PM | Ew, gross! (Women AND mud.) -You can be the one to keep track of the score then, while every one else simply stares...:) -And, on a side note, how would Sylūne wrestle? |
| BrennonGoldeye12-10-06, 09:58 PM | Ew, gross! (Women AND mud.) Dan, just add a disco ball and Incubus bartenders...;) -And, on a side note, how would Sylūne wrestle? It would really suck to be in a cage match with her..:D |
| Lord Karsus12-11-06, 11:32 AM | It would really suck to be in a cage match with her..:D -Indeed. Heh, she could possess you, and then make you beat yourself up! |
| Zeik_Sephiroth12-11-06, 06:33 PM | -You can be the one to keep track of the score then, while every one else simply stares...         Huh? Wha? Sorry, I was too busy thinking of the....!!!!!!..... drinks that I'd have to bring! Heh heh heh heh heh...save me!:help: ! |
| Karsus the Mad12-11-06, 07:39 PM | -Indeed. Heh, she could possess you, and then make you beat yourself up! Kinky. |
| Lord Karsus12-11-06, 08:26 PM | Kinky. -Theoretically, yes. In actuality, I think that the neurons sending messages to your brain concerning immense pain would override those other thoughts, though. |
| Aratharn12-12-06, 02:56 PM | you would surrender anyway, a real man doesn't strike women;) |

| Zeik_Sephiroth12-12-06, 06:53 PM | you would surrender anyway, a real man doesn't strike women;) Not unless she strikes first. If she hits you first, she has officially dropped to your level, and then it's free game. ( at least, that's what my mom tells me and I stick by it ):teach: :fight!: |
| GothicDan12-12-06, 06:54 PM | That's what my mom taught me, too. And my sister. She beat me up a lot when I was little. |
| Karsus the Mad12-12-06, 08:05 PM | you would surrender anyway, a real man doesn't strike women;) Actually, I'm a white male, 24 years of age. About 3 weeks ago a girl tried to mug me at my elevator. I had absolutely no problem slugging her, throwing her to the ground, and breaking the wrist that was holding the knife, let alone calling the cops after I had her pinned, AND pressing charges. I'm still waiting for my money. I figure, if she's stupid enough to be willing to rob me, she at the very least, deserves getting robbed by me. And I found out by the detective. She's the girlfriend of the guy whom I saved his life last summer. Screwed up. Since I was informed of that, I haven't helped any strangers on the street. Ehhh. Cause and Effect. |

| Karsus the Mad12-13-06, 04:04 AM | seriously? thats like..... ...almost too coincidental to be true Imagine my surprise. Screwed up crap in this world. The old saying "Do unto others as you would have done unto you." simply doesn't seem to work in RL. At least in this part of town. |
| Lord Karsus12-13-06, 09:29 AM | -What ever happened with that part where she could bring charges of assasult up against you? Did that mess clean itself up? I sure hope so... |
| Zeik_Sephiroth12-13-06, 07:21 PM | Yeah well, if she presses charges then you can counter sue her for bringing you up on false charges!:ayyyy!: :dancin: :evillaugh :$$: :mrt: :pint: |
| Karsus the Mad12-13-06, 07:59 PM | -What ever happened with that part where she could bring charges of assasult up against you? Did that mess clean itself up? I sure hope so... Actually, I didn't sleep the entire night. I was thinking "Oh dear god she can just say "He attacked me and wanted to rape me." over and over in my head. The next day when I went to the police department and filled out my report, I found out she had already confessed. The excuse she used was "I was scared of the guys with me and I only wanted to get somewhere safe". That's what she told the detective. When the chap told me that I busted out laughing. |

| GothicDan12-14-06, 04:35 AM | 4*Pi*r^2. |
| Yakostovian12-17-06, 03:12 AM | How many chaotic good angsty drow warriors are inspired by Drizzt daily? |
| Aratharn12-17-06, 09:35 AM | hmmm................. like God said to Moses as many as stars in the sky I meant a real man doesn't strike helpless women (if she attacks you, she's not helpless and you can strike her in selfdefence, but not more) |
| Bliol12-17-06, 11:06 AM | Why is it that Gnomes specialize in Illusion magic. I mean, seriously, what does being a gnome have to do with illusions?! The truth behind the gnome guestion is this. Puzzled by their height complex, and thinking that only magic could improve their stature gnomes set of on a search to find the one thing that could make them tall, the Nether Scrolls. So one of them did. But alas, he never got to the Transmutation part. |
| Zeik_Sephiroth12-20-06, 03:00 PM | If Sephiroth was to somehow find himself in the Realms, would Drizzt still be the best fighter? |
| Orcmonk8912-20-06, 03:21 PM | If Sephiroth was to somehow find himself in the Realms, would Drizzt still be the best fighter? A: Depends what mood R.A.'s in. Q: Why does it say that, in the FR:CS, no-one can put a body part through a portal without being sucked in, yet there's a drawing of a guy doing just that on the next page? |
| Lord Karsus12-21-06, 02:04 PM | If Sephiroth was to somehow find himself in the Realms, would Drizzt still be the best fighter? -Well, you are assuming that Sephiroth is a better swordsman than Drizzt, which he is not. How can I make such a statement? Look at the facts. Sephiroth is in his mid-20s (I believe). Drizzt has been wielding the scimitars before Sephiroth was even born. Thus, it is safe to assume that Drizzt is far more proficient with the use of his weapons that Sephiroth is with the Masamune. Furthermore, the Masamune is a farily ungainly weapon, judging from FFVII and Kingdom Hearts. Drizzt is adept at using his dexeterity and his speed against his opponents. While Sephiroth is dragging his weapon through the air, Drizzt has ample time to duck in underneath his non-existent defenses and strike him once or twice before getting out of harm's way. -I don't like Drizzt very much, but that was a very silly question. Q: Why does it say that, in the FR:CS, no-one can put a body part through a portal without being sucked in, yet there's a drawing of a guy doing just that on the next page? -You really don't want an answer to that one. Trust me... |
| BloodofNumenor12-22-06, 09:52 AM | A. Dove, no question about it. whoops! wrong thread...heh heh... |
| Blackheart12-22-06, 11:25 AM | Do dragon scales taste like Pop Rocks? |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 11:34 AM | Do dragon scales taste like Pop Rocks? -Yes, actually. -That actually makes me wonder. Back in the late 70's and early-to-mid 80s', when D&D hit it's peak, I wonder why no one ever tried to produce mock D&D fantasy food, like Pop Rocks called Dragon Scales, or similar things... |
| Blackheart12-22-06, 11:47 AM | Four words. The Southern Christian Coalition. |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 11:57 AM | Four words. The Southern Christian Coalition. -Ah, good point. I wasn't even alive in those days, so I automatically dismiss their ability to do anything, as people are generally sensible. Not back then, though... |
| Aratharn12-22-06, 02:04 PM | why's that so? here, in europe the image of Pen&Paper is a bit diffrent i think, but i don't know why or how |
| GothicDan12-22-06, 02:29 PM | Because America is surprisingly religious despite being founded under the supposed ideas of "freedom from religious persecution." That is: it's full of bloody extremists. |
| Aratharn12-22-06, 02:38 PM | the "Pilgrim fathers", i heard of them but what is the relation between the religious zeal and D&D? |
| GothicDan12-22-06, 03:39 PM | In the 80s, a lot of people below the bible belt felt that D&D was 'satanic,' because it referenced demons, devils, necromancers, 'evil spells', and the like. Most such people seemed to ignore the fact that 95% of the time (at that time in the RPG), it was good-aligned heroes SLAYING those figures. Remember, in America, some people are up-in-arms about HARRY POTTER, because they think it "promotes witchcraft among children." (Disregarding the fact that the spell-use of the HP series makes no real references to religious dogma...) |
| Aratharn12-22-06, 03:57 PM | ah, now I get it I didn't know about HP being so disregarded in the US. Sometimes I really pity you guys, don't you want to move to my country? Less religious zeal, better payment and more social security, AND you can have french cuisine every day;) I guess I'm lucky to have been born into one of the freeest countries of the world (ironcly I live in a monarchie, if you need more info, PM me or look it up) |

What Dan is referring to is contained to a fairly small part of the country, that most other citizens don't really take seriously, or have in a high regard, anyway. -Also, Europe has this pretty bad habit of falling into total war and chaos. Hate when that happens...For the few faults that the United States has, it is, in my opinion, it is still, by far, the best country to live in, for various reasons. |
| Aratharn12-22-06, 05:19 PM | in luxembourg it is a lot cheaper than in the rest of western europe and i garantie you that you won't have to make so long distances to meet your freinds and so on Luxembourg is 84 km North to south an 54 km East to West if you live in the capital you won't even need a car and i garantie that you get there everyting you want, i know it because i lived there for nearly two years BTW the capital of Luxembourg is................ Luxembourg! (in fact we call it "city of luxembourg") the time of war is over, it hasn't been a war in western europe during the last 60 years, that has never ever happened before, there was always war somewhere and that peace will endure at least for some dozens of couples of years, i would bet my life on it (basicly because i live there;) ) BTW we were freed by General Patton in WW2 and he is buried here |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 05:36 PM | in luxembourg it is a lot cheaper than in the rest of western europe and i garantie you that you won't have to make so long distances to meet your freinds and so on Luxembourg is 84 km North to south an 54 km East to West if you live in the capital you won't even need a car and i garantie that you get there everyting you want, i know it because i lived there for nearly two years -I am sorry, but nothing will ever compare to New York... BTW the capital of Luxembourg is................ Luxembourg! (in fact we call it "city of luxembourg") -Now, that is awesome! :) -And, Luxembourg is the only soverign Grand Duchy. That's cool, I guess. |
| Aratharn12-22-06, 05:42 PM | o yeah, have you ever seen the city palace of our grand-duke? it's quite a beauty I once met that guy when i was 8 or so (at that moment he was still the heir of the throne and not the Grand-duke) BTW his name is Grand-dke Henry duc des nassaux (that last part is frensh, i don't know the clan name in english, it means Duke of the .......... well the name i don't know how to translate) who needs NY, in Luxembourg some of the major institions of the EU, it's not to far from the truth if i say that luxembourg is half the capital of the EU and now i will give you the best reason to come to europe our girls are slimer and they seem to be a bit more openhearted than yours;) and that is what really matters |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 05:54 PM | o yeah, have you ever seen the city palace of our grand-duke? it's quite a beauty -I'm sure it is. Europe has some pretty interesting architecture, and some very nice locations. who needs NY, in Luxembourg a some of the major institions of the EU, it's not to far from the truth if i say that luxembourg is half the capital of the EU -That's just silly. The difference is that without Luxembourg, the world would still function. Albeit, it would be minus a nice country, but we would manage. Without New York, the world would not function, as it is the very "nervecenter" of so much. our girls are slimer and they seem to be a bit more openhearted than yours;) and that is what really matters -That certainly is a good reason. :) -But, slimmer is not always better. Look at French women...They are often slim, but they often don't shave their armpits! :yuck: -Here in New York, you can find a girl of any color, of any creed, of any status, and so on and so forth. |
| Aratharn12-22-06, 05:57 PM | than you didn't know that at least 50% percent of the inhabitants of Luxembourg City are foreigners where did you get that silly idea of the armpits from, of course they shave! believe me, if you blast or capital away, the only thing you wil get is a WW3, you can believe me that would only lead to extremly brutal retaliation, our allies would crush those who did that and i garantie you that the french nukes are the best (they have the highest level of development) |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 06:05 PM | than you didn't know that at least 50% percent of the inhabitants of Luxembourg City are foreigners -That is a lot of non-naitives, especially for a European state. So many European countries pride themselves in being "culturally pure", meaning that 'Only Frenchmen live here', or 'Only Germans live here', or whatever it is. With globalism today, however, that notion is going down the drain. -I'm sure there are many different types of people in Luxembourg City, but I can say with reasonable certainty that the cultural diffusion and immigration patters there do not match the cultural diffusion and immigration patterns here, in New York. where did you get that idea of the armpits from, of course they shave! -It's a well known stereotype (at least on this side of the Atlantic) that French women smoke like chimneys, and never shave their armpits. ;) |
| Aratharn12-22-06, 06:17 PM |     if you have an prejudice about european people, ask me first and i will gladly tell you what the truth looks like that makes me think, we have the common prejudice that a important part of the americans seem to be naive to very naive my ex-girlfreind once visited NY and she told me that NYC seem to be quite european in attitude and phisical shape (they seem to be slimmer there than in the rest of the USA) |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 06:25 PM | my ex-girlfreind once visited NY and she told me that NYC seem to be quite european in attitude and phisical shape (they seem to be slimmer there than in the rest of the USA) -There's pleanty of fat people here. The city is a cosmopolitan place, so you're not going to find stereotypical unemployed trailor trash here. But, we have projects in some areas. Pick your evils, I guess. -As for the attitude...Well, most New Yorkers consider ourselves superior to others (Can you tell? ), and other often find us elitist. Many European naitives have the same kind of attitude, if you want to take that route. -But, remember, New York was the immigration hub of Europe in the past. So, to see European influences on things around here really goes without saying. The entire country in influenced by Europe (mainly Western Europe). |
| Aratharn12-22-06, 06:33 PM | i never said that there weren't fat people, but the percentage seems to be lower than the usual 30% percent i cannot speak for those "these people only" nationalists, btw if you wear a t-shirt with the your flag on it, it's noraml, isn't it? but i wore a t-shirt with the luxembourgish flag on it, I would immidiatly be seen as an nationalist and a racist in my country, historical reasons, has to do with some big war |
| Lord Karsus12-22-06, 07:51 PM | i never said that there weren't fat people, but the percentage seems to be lower than the usual 30% percent -That's the obesity rate? Actually, it is sad that there is an obesity rate... i cannot speak for those "these people only" nationalists, btw if you wear a t-shirt with the your flag on it, it's noraml, isn't it? but i wore a t-shirt with the luxembourgish flag on it, I would immidiatly be seen as an nationalist and a racist in my country, historical reasons, has to do with some big war -Well, that's just plain ol' stupid. If a person lives in a country, they should have pride in it- whether they be naitves or immigrants. Apparently though, I one of a dying breed. It's the new cool, to hate your own country... |
| Yakostovian12-23-06, 04:59 AM | -Well, that's just plain ol' stupid. If a person lives in a country, they should have pride in it- whether they be naitves or immigrants. Apparently though, I one of a dying breed. It's the new cool, to hate your own country... It's typical of teenagers to hate whatever is familiar, so I would say that civilization & society at large is going through its teen years. (I fully expect odd/interesting remarks regarding my opinion above.) |
| Aratharn12-23-06, 09:42 AM | neither me nor Lord Karsus are teenagers anymore and it has been like that in my country since the last 40 years |
| ShadezofDis12-23-06, 12:29 PM | -Well, that's just plain ol' stupid. If a person lives in a country, they should have pride in it- whether they be naitves or immigrants. Apparently though, I one of a dying breed. It's the new cool, to hate your own country... Well, to be accurate here, one who lives in a country should have pride in what is good about said country; ex USA Pride towards the constitution Pride towards the freedoms we enjoy etc One should not have pride in; The way we've treated Southern American nations (in general, there are good things we've done and there are bad) The way we've treated the various native tribes To hate the US because we've done some terrible things is to be blinded to the good the US has done. To love the US because we've done some truely amazing things is to be blinded to the terrible things the US has done. There is a middle ground :) |
| Aratharn12-23-06, 12:47 PM | of course there is, that's why i am still posting here:) your different governements really treated some countries like **** in the past, sadly that's canon:rant: :banghead: :headexplo i hope that will change:) |
| Lord Karsus12-23-06, 06:09 PM | neither me nor Lord Karsus are teenagers anymore -Eh, I'm 20, so that's close enough. But, when I was a teenager, I wasn't like that either. To hate the US because we've done some terrible things is to be blinded to the good the US has done. To love the US because we've done some truely amazing things is to be blinded to the terrible things the US has done. There is a middle ground :) -That is a pretty good middle ground. I could make some political statements arguing against hating the U.S., but I'll refrain. There's no reason to get this thread closed. your different governements really treated some countries like **** in the past, sadly that's canon:rant: :banghead: :headexplo i hope that will change:) -Every country has it's share of shady deals- the United States, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, Belgium, and so on and so forth. Because the United States is that much more influential around the world means that it's faults are that much more amplified/magnified around the world (in terms of criticism, not neccessarily effect). -Again, let's try to steer clear of all this political talk. :) |
| Aratharn12-24-06, 08:53 AM | sure thing:) |
| ShadezofDis12-24-06, 12:48 PM | -Again, let's try to steer clear of all this political talk. :) Here, here! Well, unless it's about Cormyrean pressures upon the Dalelands. ;D |
| GothicDan12-24-06, 10:13 PM | I prefer European countries (some) in almost every way over American ones, and I plan on moving there and living there (either in the UK, somwhere in Scandinavia, or in Germany) for a good part of my life, or perhaps permanently. |
| Blackheart12-25-06, 05:31 PM | Dan's really just a sucker for guys with accents. :P And in response to the original response to me...I'm not that old, either, LK. Just 25. I do, however live in the South and get to see how much protest happens on the local scale by the SCC, though. And the SBA and the UCA and, and, and... For instance, the SCC and SBA and one of the Church of Christ associations protested a book store to the point of closure because it carried non-Christian religious texts. Sad, really. But yeah...back on topic! Have you ever seen a horse fly? What about a dragon fly? Hmm..I just seen about everything when I see...okay, I'm done here.... |
| GothicDan12-28-06, 04:46 PM | ... So maybe I DO like foreign/European guys. ;) |
| Lord Karsus12-28-06, 07:44 PM | -So, how do you expect to work for NASA while living in Sweeden? -Unless, you work to help send Sweedes to space...:plotting: |
| MarkusTay6312-30-06, 06:45 PM | Q. Who would win a bikini mud wrestling Battle Royale between the Seven Sisters? Too easy, Alustriel After all, she be givin' drizzt the booty calls, so shes down with ghetto style street fightin' Q. What if Azoun had died by the hands of the Khahan, and the Tugien Horde won the day? By the way, I'm actually getting ideas from this weird thread. Gnomes as the secret group that has been behind everything evil in the Realms. Hmmmmmmmm...... :plotting: EDIT: sorry, didn't realize there were two more pages, so this is an old answer. :( |
| Lord Karsus12-30-06, 06:47 PM | Q. What if Azoun had died by the hands of the Khahan, and the Tugien Horde won the day? -Everyone would be speaking Mongolian in Cormyr. |
| MarkusTay6312-30-06, 07:30 PM | Good campaign idea. :heehee I just read the last two pages, and it was once again uninspired. You guys are even worse then my regular forum at staying on topic. @LK - Don't ever try hangin' out at Coolminiornot forums, I used to have the same stupid American attidues as you (not saying YOU are stupid, just OUR preconceptions). The group there is about 40% U.S., which put them in the majority over other individual countries, but we are outnumbered when they ban together. The Brits are around 30%, and are far better at dishing out verbal thrashings then anything we can do, and they do it ELOQUENTLY. Must tell my buddy frenchkid over there about your armpit comment..... :D Now back on track... :P Q. When will Halaster propose to matron baenre'? |

But, if the Tuigan did take over Cormyr, they would all be talking Tuigan there. And, since Tuigan is basically Mongolian, they'd be talking Mongolian. |
| MarkusTay6312-30-06, 07:56 PM | Ummmmm... didn't you say that already? What about my last question? Or is it just too scarey? :P Coolminiornot (http://www.coolminiornot.com/23788) is a great site for those of us who love the miniatures aspect of the game as much as playing it. PS - You need to close the WotC frame (top rght) before it lets you go there. I hate that frame. |
| Lord Karsus12-30-06, 08:02 PM | Ummmmm... didn't you say that already? -Sorry. The Matrix just glitched. Coolminiornot (http://www.coolminiornot.com/) is a great site for those of us who love the miniatures aspect of the game as much as playing it. -Eh, no thanks. I'm not really into the minis thing. |
| MarkusTay6312-30-06, 11:05 PM | ah, too bad. The miniatures aspect is just another wonderful venue for the hobby we love. I also play miniatures game, so I get multiple use of my figs. :D And still no answer! So I will repeat myself - Q. When will Halaster propose to matron baenre'? |
| GothicDan12-30-06, 11:19 PM | Yesterday! |
| Lord Karsus12-30-06, 11:27 PM | -Here's another unanswerable question: How many clones do I actually have? |
| MarkusTay6312-31-06, 12:00 AM | boy... you guys just don't want to play the game at all.... :allalone: |
| GothicDan12-31-06, 12:10 AM | I was playin! Ooo, Archangel.. |
| Lord Karsus12-31-06, 12:11 AM | -Archangel is rich, too. Even better, eh? |
| GothicDan12-31-06, 12:12 AM | Hey, I wasn't thinking of him in THAT way! (Much.) ... So maybe I sorta' like him like that. And Cyclops. And Colossus. And Havok is kinda' hot. |
| Lord Karsus12-31-06, 12:14 AM | -He is/was blue though, literally...Gotta figure that's the trade-off for being rich. |
| MarkusTay6312-31-06, 12:24 AM | Now you guys have completely lost me. And Dan, you were supposed to answer the question AND ask one of your own. unless 'Archangel' was a question? To answer your question LK, TOO MANY! ;) |
| Lord Karsus12-31-06, 12:36 AM | To answer your question LK, TOO MANY! ;) -Yeah, I hear that... |
| BrennonGoldeye01-01-07, 05:39 PM | -Here's another unanswerable question: How many clones do I actually have? Actually the answer to this question is schwa. Figure that one out.:D |
| Lord Karsus01-01-07, 05:51 PM | Actually the answer to this question is schwa. Figure that one out.:D -Schwa means '0', in Hebrew (not exactly 0, but more like never, which is close enough to the number). I obviously have more than 0 clones, or there wouldn't be an infestation of them around here. |
| BrennonGoldeye01-01-07, 06:07 PM | Not Yiddish schwa, English Schwa. Jeez, give a guy 40-something ranks in language skills and he gets all uppity....;) |
| Lord Karsus01-01-07, 06:14 PM | Not Yiddish schwa, English Schwa. Jeez, give a guy 40-something ranks in language skills and he gets all uppity....;) -Hebrew, not Yiddish (Although, it might be a Yiddish word too). -Well, the IPA Number for the Schwa is 322. So, I guess I have 322 clones then. |
| BrennonGoldeye01-03-07, 10:20 AM | Ugh, that many? Is The Gad included? Wait, this could be good. Wow, just imagine the component possibilities..:plotting:..Just how big is your pituitary? |
| Lord Karsus01-04-07, 07:50 PM | Ugh, that many? Is The Gad included? Wait, this could be good. Wow, just imagine the component possibilities..:plotting:..Just how big is your pituitary? -Whoa, whoa, whoa...You weren't contracted to mess with my pituitary gland...If you really want, I guess you can mess with KtM's... |
| BrennonGoldeye01-06-07, 08:27 PM | -Whoa, whoa, whoa...You weren't contracted to mess with my pituitary gland... :detect: Just stand still for a sec :detect: If you really want, I guess you can mess with KtM's... :whatsthis <----He's already givin me the spices to offset the XP cost, this won't hurt a bit....;) |
| BrennonGoldeye01-09-07, 05:23 PM | Anyways, back to topic. Q. When will Halaster propose to matron baenre'? Reply With Quote If your speaking of Yvonnel, right after he animates her. :rimshot: If your speaking of Triel, right after she fails her will save. :D Q. How many dwarves does it take to screw in a lightbulb? |
| Lord Karsus01-09-07, 06:50 PM | Q. How many dwarves does it take to screw in a lightbulb? -Depends on how high up the ceiling is. |
| BrennonGoldeye01-12-07, 10:19 AM | No fair, my mind blank must have ended, rofl. |
