| Anskiere07-29-05, 02:34 PM | Can anyone recommend some good reading material featuring the Red Wizards. I'm looking to incorporate them into a campaign and would like to research the organization before hand. Thanks all |
| GothicDan07-29-05, 02:38 PM | Here are all of the supplements and novels of which I can think of from 2E: Spellbound Dreams of the Red Wizards Red Magic Villain's Lorebook And I'm sure there's more. |
| Grem of Surkh07-29-05, 02:55 PM | the FR campaign setting has lots of stuff, look up red wizrds in the orginazation section, but the country of thay section also has lots of info |
| The Simbul07-29-05, 03:21 PM | The Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting if effectively a default must-have for any FR campaign, and provides enough preliminary information about the Red Wizard and Thay to utilize them in a campaign. Beyond that, in order of importance I would rank; Lords of Darkness, which covers the Red Wizard organization Unapproachable East, which covers Thay and in turn the Red Wizards as a whole. Finally, the 3.5 Dungeon Masters Guide has the 3.5 version of the Red Wizard prestige class, while the Players Guide to Faerun has it's updated Epic Level progression. |
| GothicDan07-29-05, 03:25 PM | Isn't the Red Wizard Epic advancement in the Web Supplement for PGtF? |
| Kezghan07-30-05, 02:33 AM | its in the 3.5 update booklet i believe. not the PGtF or its web enhancement. |
