| WizO_Lyoness10-31-05, 11:24 PM | We seem to have a little problem here with sticking threads in their rightful places. You all have read the "What goes here" threads and the forum descrips themselves, so I'm not going to repeat them and bore you all. I am going to ask everyone to pay extra attention to where on this board he or she is posting his or her thread and why. If in doubt for a specific FR topic, post it here. If in doubt as to whether it is FR at all, I strongly urge you to try the RPG business board. Thank you in advance. -WizO Lyoness |
| ClobberinTime11-04-05, 08:59 AM | Hey, thanks for all your good work, but I wanted to ask about the FRedness of some questions- Lots of times people post general questions here, i.e. what does the feat 'arcane strike' do etc... The reason why lots of us post these questions here is that we all know each other and post here alot, and there are people who specialize in knowing alot about certain topics, like say the Simbul, who can answer any question on Epic Magic you would ever have. When we post these general questions we know we are going to get a fast and accurate response, in other words we do have a little community going here. but I noticed that people are being asked to submit these questions to the general board. Is there any reason for this? i.e. is the FR board too full, or the regular board have more memory or something. Posting such things on the general boards is alot more random in the types of answers you get, and lots of us don't frequent those boards often. |

| WizO_Lyoness11-05-05, 11:10 PM | I hear you. It's just that FR is really for FR and only for FR. If we suddenly allowed General Dnd questions, then newcomers who are not so familiar with the site might come to post in the wrong place, and then we have a great big mess. It's like an office with innacurate filing, it would become impossible to find anything. What I suggest you do if you want the people who post here to see your post is either PM them, or just put it in an FR context. And further more.... To all the FR Wise, peek in at the Dnd boards now and again will you? ;) -Lyoness |
